Happy New Year to everyone. Here's wishing a peaceful and healthy 2007.
Today I want to get my bedroom blitzed and sort through some paperwork that I have been putting off for ages. New Year, New Efficiency!!
Other than that, I am going to try and put a couple of things on Ebay - not something I have done before!! Wish me luck!!!
Have a good day everyone, and hope the hangovers are not too fierce!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi everyone. :hello:
Just a quick one from me as I'm off to work in a minute…..
We had a lovely meal with friends and family last night. Complete chaos and lots of fun! Unfortunately I couldn't indulge as much as I might have liked because I'm covering the bank holiday at work today. I only have four morning calls and two mid-day calls so it should be a very easy day. You never know….by the time I get home some order may be restored to the house but I wouldn't bet on it!
Welcome to all the new posters…..I hope you stay with us and get as much out of the daily thread as I do.
Tired mum, have a fantastic time!
Kyle, sorry you weren't well.....good to see you posting again.
To all who are [STRIKE]suffering from stinking hangovers [/STRIKE]feeling a bit under the weather this morning I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you all for everything in 2006 and I hope you all have a great 2007!
Take care

Good morning everyone and best wishes for a happy and peaceful 2007 to you all :hello:
I had a bit of a lie in this morning but I don't think I will be the only one this morningI actually didn't stay up until midnight ... I'm an early bird and don't have the staying power. However was woken by eldest DD phoning and texting to wish us a Happy New Year
Have left OH to have a longer lie in and I am having a slow start and spending some time on the computer
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone on the OS board - no question is too silly or too complicated on here and it is such a friendly place to enter. To all those who have just joined - please stay - it's worth it I promise you!Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
Hello everybody,
Glad you all saw the New Year in safely & in good spirits.(Granny Moment) I've had a lovely day with DGS. His tantrums are becoming a thing of the past and emerging out of this state is a real little sweety pie. He kisses now, open mouthed and on your lips.
Only a granny could love them.
Tired Mum You're probably gone by now but enjoy yourself & have a lovely time.
Well off to get tea on. PUt a piece of corn meat on this morning & having veggies & macaroni cheese with it. Going up to the house tonight (no rest for the wicked)and cleaning all the grout DH has got on the tiles. It's amazing any found it's way into the cracks.
Have a restful day all & hope the unwell ones get better soon. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning everyone - and HAppy New Year to everyone who couldn't face reading this thread right from the start
Only the youngest and I are up so far this a.m. as I let the lads stay up last night. BM is nearly finished - and having just read about someone's lovely roast lamb dinner today I realised I'd not planned anything special for todays dinner:eek: . Still, I guess it isn't the end of the world - and my plans for today are to start 'Flying' again.
Plans for the Year actually are to get the house into shape so that if selling and moving to pay off my debts becomes financially viable I can do so....
I also want to get my finances into order (got money coming in and going out all over the place & need to sort debts)
Of course I also need to ensure that I pass my course - and I know there's a lot of work on it's way with that:o
Right, time to jump to the new F/L thread,
Hugs and love to you all - especially those with sore heads,
Kaz x

Morning everyone!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope the new year brings you everything you hope. I am so pleased it's 2007, an amazing new start for my OH and I, I hope!
Not much planned for today - we have washing (I know grannybroon says not to wash on New Year's Day, but needs must!) to do after emptying suitcases and bags from being away on our travels recently. I might tackle the filing too and generally tidy up a bit. We're off out tomorrow all day so need to get bits and pieces done today.
I hope all your hangovers get better soon! I'm not a big drinker, but I normally indulge at New Year - so was very strange for me this year as I was in bed sleeping at the bells!
Love
Valentine xxx0
