    Happy New Year everybody!

    I'm dead chuffed because I was able to watch the Thames firework display from my window (2 miles away over the rooftops) - had the telly on too for the sound, as obv. with the difference between speed of sound and speed of light, the actual sounds didn't finish reaching us until almost a minute after the fireworks had finished!

    (Perfect way to watch fireworks IMHO. Am somewhat phobic of them up close :o)

    Right, off to get another gin and tonic :D

    Still have my flu, but luckily I have remembered a wee dram of brandy which didn't quite make the Christmas cake, so think I'll convert that to a hot toddy and kill two birds with one stone...

    Hope 2007 is the best year so far for every single one of us.
