I do the same with Jack and the washing, although I need to be careful with the sun, we have hardly any shade.
I have to move it sometimes to make sure he's shaded - as he has red hair I'm taking no chances on him burning...lol.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
I tried Charlotte with a drink of water yesterday, but you'd think I'd given her poison by the face she pulled :rolleyes:Here I go again on my own....0

I've been trying Alice with water from a cup. She seems quite keen to take it but I'm not sure any of it actually gets swallowed as her front ends up absolutely drenched.0

I've been trying DS with water in a cup for several months - and he still doesn't take more than a sip.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0

Might ask grandparents for one of these http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=1500000701&productId=1500059517
Seems like good value for an extra £10 to last until she's 3!

Lu T - that swing on your link is meant for children from 18 months?
I love the swing we have - I can actually get to have a cup of tea whilst he's in it...:DThe IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
:hello: Hiya,
Ooh it's so exciting finally being here! :j Alex was born on Monday so we're 5 days old today. :T For those of you I haven't 'met' before, I also have a little boy who's 4, so it's a hectic household chez Dormouse at the moment (like this morning, when DS1 was bouncing all over the bed while DS2 was busy projectile pooing all over Mummy and the bed :rotfl:).
The last couple of days have been a bit of a blur as the little guy discovered feeding and has had a bit of a non-stop feeding fest. Thankfully, he seems to have settled a bit now and hopefully will now have bigger feeds and longer naps in between - fingers crossed.
I've got a couple of questions actually, especially for mums who have breastfed more than one. I expected BFing to feel the same this time, but am finding it's different: I'm leaking a lot less (also no squirty milk fountains like last time). I know my milk only came in two days ago though so I guess this might still change. Also, my let-down feels different - a lot less strong - this is normal, right?
Anyway, am looking forward to chatting to you all; just hope the little guy appreciates that Mummy needs her internet time for the sake of her sanity! :rotfl:0 -
Congratulations Dormouse!0

Congratulations Dormouse!! I'm breastfeeding for the second time, and I'm finding it different too, my letdown is strong and quite uncomfortable this time, whereas it wasn't first time round. Oh, and I found the 'squirty milk' didn't start for a couple of weeks, so you might still get it!
Good luck with the breastfeeding, I hope it goes really well and you enjoy it......once you're through the 'OMG my nipples are on fire' stage....lol!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Congrats Dormouse, welcome to the club. Hope Alex settles into a routine easily for you. And you'd better enforce that internet time! LOLMSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090
