OMG I am having the worst day ever with Henry.... he just wont stop crying... When I pick him up he cries, sit him down next to me he is crying.... meant to be working from home today but have done about 20 mins so far all day.... i think he has another tooth (5th) coming through but we never had this with the others.
And how come when he comes home from nursery he has managed to sleep for 2 hours at a time... its not fair ....he has only had 2 x half hour sleeps and wont do any more.
It is seriously getting to me and I just home OH is home soon cos I am soon going to lose the plot I thinkMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Oh Mazcabs :grouphug: teething is so tough, isn't it? Elliot is having terrible nighttimes lately, waking up screaming, poor little mite. I resort to Medised which calms him down but I don't like to give it often.
Elliot has 7 teeth now and some have been silent and painfree whereas others, well you'd think he was the only baby in the world ever to suffer the way he goes on!
Does he have a teething ring he will chew on? Frozen flannels are good.
If you need to talk to someone (other than online) then please call Cry-Sis, they will listen and just stay with you if you need it :grouphug:0 -

Snap - us too LO is teething and generally out of sorts at the mo and mummy is getting no peace during the day. Not back at work yet though so sympathize with your predicament Mascabs. Archie is so possessive at the moment I get tears if I put him down to go to the loo let alone doing any sort of work. Earlier today we ended up going for a walk into town (and spending money so not a very mse baby) just to get out of the house and try to get him to sleep ...still only got 1/2 hr kip from him though....wouldn't mind if he only slept through the night:eek: should be catching up on the housework now but toooo tired:rolleyes:.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Thanks tsstss7, nice to know its not just me... think I forget sometimes!! He was a little !!!!!! last night going to sleep as well and then this morning he was tired and overslept.
Question: when did you start LO sleeping on their front at night? LO lays like that when he does naps at nursery but they said dont do it at night because he cant crawl yet. Whats your experiences ?Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Snap Snap !!
Samantha was terrible last week. Had a raised temp, was dribbling away, wouldn't sleep during the day unless I held and rocked her, woke up a billion times during the night, completely off her food ........I am surprised I made it through until this week.:rotfl:
Seems to be a LOT better now, and no little teeth popped through, so who knows.
I feel quite sad today too ... DS1 has his first day at middle school (three-tier system here), only just got DS2 into his school in time, and Samantha is looking a bit lost - no one around at home.

I put ds down on his back, as always. When he started to sleep on his front I left him to it, except the first few times when I just had to flip him back, just in case lol. He rarely sleeps on his back now, and recently has started using anything in his reach as a pillow bless. Not sure what to do about this one. Maybe it's because he's figured out it's better for his cold... I hate the marks a bunched up cellular blanket makes on his face though.:wall:0 -
it must be teething time for all MSE babies, my little one is now 14 weeks and for the last 2 weeks he's been a terror, grumpy all the time, dribbling and biting anything and everything he can get his little hands on. No sign of any teeth yet, and I'm told this can go on for months heaven help us! Last night he was up at 10pm, 2am, 4am and 6am wanting fed!!!!! Probably cos yesterday i left him with my OH and he wouldnt feed at all (i'm BF him) he's funny about bottles (with my breast milk) sometimes he'll take one half heartedly and other times not at all, yesterday I went out alone for the first time since he was born, i was away for 4 hours and when i got back he was starving, little monkey, so I don't know what to do except keep perservering with the bottle at least once a day to get him used to it. Cos it would be nice if I could leave him the odd time!DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

Had a bit of a rotten time with Tom the last week too - hot, grumpy, miserable, just lolling all over me instead of being his usual Tigger-esque self. Finally took him to the doctor on Friday who said he had cold. Friday night he started with a rash (luckily the sort that faed when stretching the skin), took him to the drop in care centre at the hospital Saturday morning - he has German measles. He's still spotty but is more or less back to himself in character! Obviously the MSE babies have all synchronised themselves to be out of sorts altogether!0

Maybe it's the weather making all the babies funny as Alice has been a bit funny too. We've had to take her out of church services because she was too noisy the last two weeks having only ever previously had to do so once since she was born.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
