Hey everyone, hope you're all well today!?
My lil mans feeling poorly today bless him! He had a temp earlier but a bit of calpol and one of those 'kool n soothe' strips cooled him down pretty quick [those things are fab! lol] The OHs in bed with man flu too lol\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0 -
Well I have had a tiny taste today of life with older children, I met a friend for a picnic with her 7 and 3 year olds, and 7 week old baby. It was great! But the older two decided to have a dip in the ice cold paddling pool despite their mum not bringing any swimming things or towels  They were such lovely kids though, I must confess to doing a little brooding. Walking along holding her son's hand I just thought, yeah, I could do this sort of age gap  And her teeny tiny baby who was as good as gold just made it all worse, my ovaries ache :eek:0

I'm the one dying in our house. Doesn't help it's OH's birthday, so we had a party yesterday (I kept staring at people and chanting 'gohomegohomegohome' in my head ) and both families coming over today. Help me! I'm awake, as the fever was keeping me uncomfortable and of course baby, who's had this a day longer keeps stirring. I gave him medised last night and licked the spoon - eughhhh! Disgusting stuff, poor baby. Getting worried now, as his apetite is erratic, and he hasn't had a proper bottle of milk for a week! Just refuses it. If one more person says 'he's probably teething'...grrrr.
I'm hungry...
Fac, put those ovaries away. Worry about it later. Maybe I should send my 3yo nephew over for the day... Now there's an experience lol:wall:0 -

Welcome Hell
Nice to have another breastfeeding veteran on board
Hope you feel better soon, Agutka, and Baybee's little one. We are not a particularly healthy household at the moment either, as both me and Alex came down with a tummy bug yesterday. Thankfully DH and DS1 seem okay. This is most unusual as I never get tummy bugs. And the amount of washing I've had to do in the last couple of days... ugh!
Enjoy what's left of the weekend, everyone
(I have reports to type up, so that'll be fun .) 0
