Can the lady here mentioning Excema ask their GP/Doctor about wet wrapping.

My husband was discharged from the forces with excema and a pension (you can only imagine how bad it was) and we happened across an excema roadshow one day, afew years later, and called in. A wet wrapping trade stand - sponsored by Epaderm - showed us the idea behind it and we were encouraged to see our GP and ask about it. It was fantastic. Time consuming but it worked really well.

I would never try something on a child before asking medical advice but I do think it is something you should mention as ask if it might work for your little one.

THanks for all the kind wishes for Imogen. And esp. to Kez for the idea about wet-wrapping, I'll def. ask about that when we see the consultant.

Tss - it's not bleeding (thank goodness) but definitely bothers her and is mainly raised, red and angry.

Welcome Snugglepuss and any other newbies. Hope we can help!

Lu - I hope the consultant can help poor little Imogen, it must be really upsetting for her (and you).

You can freeze it - it does go a little bit watery but not too bad. We freeze it quite regularly and then defrost it to make shepherds pie etc with.

Ok I have just started reading back and wanted to suggest something for the grunting as Ellie did this really bad and it was stopping her sleeping. She now sleeps on he side at first we wedged her on her side with rolled up blankets to see if it worked and it did so we invested in this

Our HV advised this so might be worth checking with them before doing this.

Nice to meet you Snagglepuss - sorry I can't answer your milk question.

Pleased to see you back scruffy96uk. Hope you've been ok.

My little girl is 1 year old tomorrow. Where did the year go? :D She's been cruising round the furniture today and she's desperate to walk unaided.
Here I go again on my own....
