This is why I love it here, there is always good advice and someone to watch your back and send you love when you need it. :A

    So very true this :A

Popped to shops for few bits and when i came out to car I found someone's debit card in middle of car park. So I went back into supermarket to hand it in, and the woman on customer services looked at me as if I was odd to hand it in <insert confused smiley>.

It's a lovely evening out. Went for a little walk on the beach when I got back.

Ive posted a few times, and read a lot, but havnt been around for 2 weeks asi went in for my back operation on July 14th. Home the following Monday, but so frustrating as i cant lift, twist, bend or stretch for 6 weeks.
Cant wait to get motivated again and get back on to all the challenges. My monthly food bills are really good ive dropped down a lot.. weve just been given notice of 28 days today. so we will have to cut back even more and do more of the oldstyle ways as we will loose all her money
Just when we were getting straight as well!!

Indeed...and I have also been pondering on how much exactly it would cost Master Tru to house and feed himself and pay a maid?

Annie, I haven't been around for anybody much for the last 21 months, but I'm nearly back to normal service and apologise for not being as supportive as I probably should have been. I tend to close down to people when I'm under emotional stress. I think the house elf and I are coming out of the other side of things now, and hopefully, with the right help, you can find a way of dealing with your situation.

Hugs to you all, I'd be lost without the daily, even if I haven't been posting much.

    Hi pixiehouse,

Welcome back! I hope you feel better soon and I'm sorry to hear about your 28 days notice. I've added your post into the daily thread as that is where we chat about the ups and downs of our lives and you should get lots of support there.

Hope you get some good sleep Pixiehouse. I take it you are a foster carer then? I am sure she does care, but for a child in the care system, as you know, its hard for them to show any sort of attachment sometimes, as a coping /self protection thing. Hope it goes as well as it can, for all of you.
