Thanks very much Hester. I will have a word with my library as I have also found one on a shelf in a charity shop for about 30p... I really do think we should read it. Theres lots to discuss in it and its a great book anyway.

Morning All,
It is the most beautiful day here:) I hope you are all well.
Been busy this morning, had to take OH to work, and BIL2be to the doctor for his pre -chemo blood tests. apparently he needs these every week the day before treatment, so they can check if he's well enough for his due dose. He's looking tired today and is feeling a bit sick,a nd has a rash, so I am a bit worried about that, my sister is at the hairdresser this morning sorting out her wedding "do" and will call his pallitive care nurse later to see what's to happen.
I need to go into Glasgow today and take some parcels tot he PO, and some jeans to Debenhams for a refund, best get a shifty on!
Have a fab day and take care of yourselves.
MARIE! Stop working that poor man into the ground

Morning my lovelies
Quick one from me. Dry here, cloudy but bright. Washing nearly up to date but H only made a small dent in the ironing Sunday night so a shed load more to get done. Kids not bored yet of school hols so that's a bonus
Tea tonight is Chicken Louisiana, H will have to have his re-heated as he's off trying a karate class with a friend after work!
Nowt else going on so will leave it there. Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Cranky - what a brilliant report you must be bursting with pride. He sounds like a pleasure to have in the class. Well done HE:)
Tru - Huge hugs for you x Being taken for granted is very demoralising. Would it work to call a house meeting to discuss expectations and responsibilities? I used to do that when DD1 and DS lived at home. (They now have their own families and have to do the sorting out!)
JackieG - Hugs to you x Hope BIL is well enough for therapy.Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

ThanksAnd no
We've tried it before. His attitude is that because I'm at home and he works, then I should clear up after him. "I pay to live here, you don't" is his standard line. I don't know who the eff he thinks he is. It's getting to the stage where one of us is going to have to leave. When I said this the other day, mr tru suddenly started defending me. Because he doesn't do that normally (I don't usually need him to, I can hold my own extremely well!), master tru gets even more defensive and the rows get worse.
I do work, only one day a week ATM though. Not that it's got anything to do with him.Bulletproof0 -
Afternoon all!

Afternon all.
Not long up as couldn't sleep last night. OH is at work and kids are just finishing their breakfast.
Weather is nice so I have a white washing to put on then I will get that hung out. Last nights dishes need done but have run out of gas so need to pop to the shops for a top up. We ran out because we have been forgetting to check the gas as we've only been using a small bit for heating the hot water.
Need to pop to the shops for a few items.
The BBQ pulled pork I made yesterday has been a hit. So I will put this receipe in my receipe book. There was lots of meat once it was pulled.
I have some mince that is up today but it has gone all brownnormally I would just smell it to see if it is okay but I have a rotten cold and cant smell anything so will have to will OH gets home to see if it is fit for human consumption.
Have a good day everyone.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

congrats Kazzaw! Welcome to the world Toby
Enjoy your break gers
Tru - You have my sympathy, Master Tru sounds like OH - he doesn't get that i am not willing to pick up after him all day long. I started small, didn't wash his clothes if they weren't in the bin (que him throwing his toys out the pram when he had no clean socks! he learnt pretty quickly) right now it 's taking the bins out, I do everything else, he can manage that - It's been three weeks now and he's complaining about the amount of bins and flies in the garden......he'll cotton on soon enough...Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500
