DKNY! I wait for you with baited breath
I saw the fireworks at the london eye too, albeit from Greenwich! Looked good, wished I was there! Where are you moving to?
My sol is back in today. I am going to ask her if theres any way we can get everything there for next wednesday, and if so aim for exchange next weekend.
I dont know Im well stressed about it as I fear the buyers sol will rustle up something else to want to know about, there was some mutterings about wanting something from the council which I hope to be able to get hold of mysel for speed.
Again I reiterate, I wish Id done my conveyancing myself :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...

Hi,
Hope someone can help? had a letter from my solicitors today asking for info from my buyers solicitors they are requesting me to fill in a"general standard printed enquiries form" and a utillity form,
my solicitor has forwarded to me the utility form to fill in, but has sent back to them unfilled the enquiries form, as we do not answer general standard printed enquiries??she has asked for more specific enquiries that has not been answered by other documentation and their own observations/survey.
What could these enquiries be and is it standard...? they only had a valuation survey done.
worrying a bit, as it has all been going well and i suppose i worry things could go pear shaped still.
hope it makes sense!moved on 2nd feb07:beer:0 -
Ive had these enquiries, ( if they are the same as mine) and Im not sure why your sol doesnt want you to answer them
Mine included things like
where is the stopcock and trip switches ( location inthe flat)
what day do the bin men come
whats the phone number- can they keep it, is there a BT line in the place
there was only about 10 questions, nothing too strenous took about 5 mins to fill in! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

We still have not exchanged, have foned solictors and they said it will happen, theres still time but i have been waiting all day for this to happen... Is this normal??
I have told the EA to pressure them to exchange ... and they have said they will, as they have been brilliant so far..
Went in to solictors this morning and basically signed a couple of forms one of them was the mortgage deeds?? is this all right?
I truly cant wait for this to be over now, rather than feeling happy and excited im all over the place with mixed emotions..
Lyn - I am in Surrey, and the house we are movin to (hopfully) is just a 2-3 minute walk away on the other estate so not far at all, i walk past it nearly everyday and i just wanna move in now.
The london eye fireworks were brilliant, was worried about trouble but it went really well, such a good feeling, think we will do it again next yeardid you go?
Good luck everyoneCompleted House Purchase And LOVIN' IT:D

Just had the call from the solicitor, All ready for a friday move, just booked the day off, and the van will be dropped off at 9am (If you pick one of the big players, just say you work for a Uni and ask for the Uni rates and you will recieve 10-20% off) Good Luck to everyone else, it will happen eventually.
Now where is a good place for boxes? lol0 -
The reason they havent exchanged yet is cos they need confirmation that the seller has payed his arrears of £5 ..seller has already told me this was payed..
.. i better go and get the stress balls out... as i really wanna screaaaaaaaam in a minuteCompleted House Purchase And LOVIN' IT:D
