No you can go to your bank and ask for a chargeback on the transaction
  • The bank are saying they have to wait 30 days from the transaction.

Is there a way of speeding this process up, by 30 days they could of closed the bank account down and removed all traces of the transaction?

not really, its the same with paypal disputes the seller could close their account and run, even if they do and you instigate a chargeback as you have no goods then you will still get your money back from the bank
  • The web site is very comprehensive and the 'order' emails arrived promptly! The camera I ordered didn't arrive when expected but I wasn't overly concerned until I came across this thread.
My credit card company, said as I couldn't get a telephone response, to email the company and if I failed to get an adequate reply, they would take over. I also used Goggle check out.
  • Hi there

It seems it is a scam as I am also waiting on a fridge freezer which has not arrived and when trying to call got the "press 1 to text" answer but now there is nothing , a dead line.

I have contacted the bank and google but not looking promising . The annoying thing is the website is still live

  • I just cannot believe they are getting away with this and still actively selling .

More people are going to get scammed and it automatically goes to google payment without checking stock or anything . Never thought I had anything to worry about as looked like a good site and actually was directed to it from a money comparison site

a comprehensive site means nothing as you can pick up templates for a few pounds and also some dropship suppliers will provide for a small fee a fully stocked and branded website.
order emails will arrive quickly as you are ordering and giving them money also most are automated from the site and payment provider.

the rogue/conman is the person running the site. the dropshipper will display goods on the site which a genuine company would sell to you and once you pay them they then order the goods from the dropshipper and pay the dropshipper and then the dropshipper/supplier will deliver direct to the buyer (you), but it looks like that the owners of ebuy4u (strange the name is similar to ebay and ebid) a ploy to attract customers are actually advertising the dropshippers goods and selling these but are not placing the orders with the dropshipper to supply the goods to their buyers

This is absolutely ridiculous, I purchased a washing machine on 14th july for £195, I thought i had found a really good bargain..... that was untill i read this post this morning, what are you supposed to do when this happens? I have allredy been on the phone to my bank and trading standards this morning.
Now they have said nothing can be done yet, reason being is because my deliverey date is tomorrow (22nd), I know technically it could come tomorrow, but I have a very bad gut feeling that is not going to happen.
You may also like to know I rang Carriocca Business park (where Ebuy4u is meant to be registered) and they put me through to the office suite on the address, I got through and asked is this Ebuy4U, she said no we build websites for companys here, so as you can probz guess i give her the company name, she then told me she will try to make contact with them, I rang back the next day and she told me the number she rang just rang out and out.

Now as I say i fear the worst.

I will keep people on here updated and would be great if other people could do the same.

    Thanks.

    Jack :(
