When did you open up mediation with Google?

I sent this 11 days ago and got an initial letter then nothing - then yesterday I got a 'rate google' email but I have already clicked the mediation thing another 2 times from then and have nothing . there is nowhere to actually talk to google or write anything to them ? is that correct or am I missing a trick ? just upsetting this hasn't ended for me yet . Thank you so much for your help

I'm heartened to hear people are getting joy from Google... I contacted them with a refund request over a week ago & haven't heard a dickie bird. Have gone through the process again today - maybe they'll give me the courtesy of a response this time... It seems impossible to contact them in any other way than via the website... no email address, no phone number... guess I'll just have to keep trying & hope for the best...

it is great that people are getting their money back and also that it is possible so fingers crossed for those of us that are still waiting and hopefully this will happen like the others . so glad people have stayed in touch with each other and helped each other .

tank girl - check your old email from google - one that says wait 5 business days and if not click here - I think that was my problem and after hunting every email and reading this again I have clicked it and it deals with the case number (instead of creating a new mediation case) and google has got back to me already . Try this

To anyone else waiting, keep sending those refund requests through... it only took 20 minutes to get a response this time... VERY happy bunny... at least I will be in 3 days time
And I got my Dyson from Amazon... worth every penny

Oh, and the email address from Google was checkout-support@google.com Hope that helps anyone else who's struggling to contact them...

I am an online advertising specialist and actually spoke with the head of the ebuy4u "operation"...a man called amar. They asked me to review their online advertising campaigns and come back with an apraisal of how they can get more visitors to their site....something which I did not do. These guys were spending £thousands driving traffic to the site and had over 5,000 visitors last month alone, so even with a 1% conversion rate (a general internet average) they have scammed hundreds of people. the site is now down. I am not sure how the banks etc can help people get their money back, but I dont believe that Google will be able to offer much assistance. As texranger said above, it is very easy to get a site which looks the part and just because they are on Google does not mean that they are legit....always look forward safe site logo's, SSL certificates etc...it's not fool proof but can certainly help.
