My bank phoned me back today and told me ebuy4u is now listed as a scam and the police are automatically involved in such cases.

I already have bought a new Dyson from Amazon, delivered in 24 hours!

I've bought online for years and without any trouble. I'm usually very careful but was a bit short of cash and couldn't resist. Thought Google would be as good as PayPal. Doesn't seem like that's going to be the case.

Frustrating as this was Birthday money from my parents.

i bought a wii console on 6/7/11 they took payment from my account on 11/7/11. I got the same message as previously posted. Given a date of delivery. that came and went. then a few days later an email apologising the delivery werent made on that day due to 'unforseen circumstances' and another delivery date was given. Again that date came and went.

i sent numerous emails with no reply. i tried calling them but got an automated voice asking me to press 1 to send a text to let the company know I had called.

Reported to google checkout and they have not done anything either!

I reported this to my bank and they have said I have to wait 28 days from the date in which money was taken from my account until they can put money back into my account. This seems to be the only thing good about it. the fact the bank is actually giving me my money back!

Tried to look on the EBUY4U website today and guest what. The website has Disappeared. something needs to be done!

Also told that Mastercard regulations mean waiting 30 days from date of order before the dispute team will take it up, which is only a little over 2 weeks from now. Have cancelled credit card & had new one issued. And ordered from Amazon!
Should I be surprised to have heard not a whisper from Google Checkout? No, didn't think so...

The website hosts have done the right thing in suspending the website due to people claiming fraudulent activity, you couldn't have asked more from them. Now it will be the hands of your banks and trading standards.

Spoken to trading standards/Office Of Fair Trading, they said theres not much more they can really do to help me..... reason being they said the supplier has 30 daysd after purchase to legally deliver items etc. and 30 days after that to return and cancell........ I think my best bet here is to jus hope for the best with my bank.

I've been caught out by these thieves as well. Spoke to my credit card company and will have to give Ebuy4u 30 days to deliver the goods before lodging a refund application. Ha Ha - some chance.

Really annoyed as I need the camera now. Grrr.
