Admittedly I get a flat tyre or battery every 1-2 years. The bill's about £60 ish quid and I get it back in 2 weeks. bUt considering what the service pays for I'm happy.
I've saved £100s on car house and pet insurance as well through MSE, plus probably lots more on utilities.:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

edit: which I ight take as a green light to have humourous taps....hmmm.
actually, there is a very real down side to the shell tap: its a hot and a cold turny bit, hich means mor to get mucky nd more to clean: I think downstairs loo taps should be quick and convenient. I also quite like th idea of a waterfall tap ith a hot/cold indicator light. But ight be too out of place. My final option at is to buy a bit of stone shaped to be a ater fall tap, and have the tap mechanism behind a faux wall so it looks like a stone waterfall tap. I am sure I've seen stone water fall taps but can't find them to buy. So three optionsATM, crazy tap, modern tap, homeade tap.
They were not dissimilar to these http://www.sobathrooms.com/bathroom-taps-141/traditional-143/bristan-regency-basin-taps-chrome-plated-25393-9672_medium.jpg
They were for the utility
The process went: Ah taps, need taps, get those taps at £4, they'll do.0 -

can you buy vouchers which then act as credit against online downloads (in the same way as itunes vouchers).
i tried looking on amazon but it wasn't particularly clear.
Fantastic, I have just downloaded the free Kindle app to my new tiny mobile phone, loaded a couple of free books to test (Dracula, Sherlock) and it is easily readable even on my small screen (Xperia Ray).'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. So I was in Tesco as I had some vouchers and they were the cheapest for nappies and I was trying to spend over £80 to use the £8 off voucher so picked up a random kettle for £40 with the intention of returning it next time I am in Tesco - got to the checkout and the £40 kettle rang through at £4 ruining everything - only able to use the £4 off £40 voucher whereas for £80 I could have used both...don't ya just hate bargains.I think....0

There are loads of good freebie books on Amazon kindle plus one other bonus ( listen up LJ) they allow you to download a sample of the pay for books, you can read the sample and then buy the physical book on ebay 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
