PN, hope today is better. Where are your siblings? Could one come and stay overnight while you leave? That way it is them returning to their lives that leave old on her own, not you moving out.

I think lydiaJ is spot on, maybe you need the siblings to side with you for the old to understand that you are not being selfish.

Morning all. Pastures, did you have any luck with the advocacy service?
Not called them. Not even sure what I'd call them for. I couldn't get beyond "hi" before I'd run out of things to say.

Hi I'm PN, I've phoned you before. I need your help in getting services in place for old. Recently bereaved she is now going to be living on her own and I don't know how to get the necessary support in place for her to be safe in her own home. This is urgent as I am leaving on XX and she can't properly manage herself.

I've given in and made a coffee....

it smells delicious...but...it just doesn't taste like I remembered. Is coffee just one huge ''big fish''?

    Hi All,

Am back for a bit. Part 1 of my plan came through a bit quicker than imagined or even hoped for!

I'm not sure of the problem but this lot are brilliant at helping carers:

It's more of a confession than an admission. Of course I missed you sweetest LIR. :iloveyou:

The next hiatus will be longer I suspect as it'll involve digging 2,500 holes. It'll be in a while until that happens though.

Well I agree frankly. I'm looking at starting a farm in a couple of years maybe. The thing is, the more sweat I put in the more cash I can take out.

But then digging in Aus is a fugging nightmare. It's all clay. How can you make a continent out of clay!:mad::mad:
