Oh well, there ends the facebook relationship. Father will remove post and change settings to remove visibility.

Just maybe he will have to make contact in the real world.

Middle son removed it himself....but then sent it in an email!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    i have a pushbike. i'm so happy.

i can now cycle the 1.6 miles to get to my liftshare instead of driving the car :)

    :T

I now have a longer walk to work. Because of business recently & also late nights etc, I have driven. What was a 20 minute walk has at least doubled (possibly a bit longer). However it used to be my main form of exercise. I always used to walk everywhere, & actually miss it. I really want to start walking to/from work again, even though it is a distance, and yes, even though the weather is changing (I have a good selection of warm & waterproof coats).

I went to the football tuesday night. Walked to the ground, & walked home. LOVED it! Even though it was raining, I really enjoyed that half hour walk.

Oh god....middle son has just let loose on his father's facebook profile, pretty much saying what a hopeless father he is and asking why doesn't he use some of his holiday seeing his kids instead of going away and having fun.

It will be me who gets it in the neck.....

    YES!!!!

    GO ON MIDDLE SON!!!!!!

(I did actually shout that at the screen when I read your post!)

If ex complains, tell him to man up! All he seems to do is shift the blame onto anyone but himself. Sounds like self esteem issues to me...

From middle son, or from father?

If the latter, sod him. Don't take it. Say firmly something such as, "He's growing up. He has his own opinions. goodbye." And put the phone down.

    Absolutely!
Couldn't you just ask Mrs HM?

Shame, it won't be visible to all and sundry on his FB wall!

Given that you all hadn't heard of having your nails gelled, have you heard of threading? (Eyebrows rather than nails).

yes, but haven't had it done....its meant to be much better than alternatives though....are you havin it, have you had it?

I don't have outer third/half of eyebrows any more because of thyroid rubbish. I draw them on most days :o:o but they have usually disappeared by lunch time.:rotfl:. Weirdly though I do still get fine blonde hairs around there...not eyebrow ones but normal facial ones.

Yes, I succumbed. They actually look a better shape than when I had them waxed or plucked. Plus there is less temptation to go too far if someone else is doing it for you.

    :) That's good.

Thanks for listening to me whinge last night folks. :o

I feel better and brighter about it now. In fact...it might be really good for me, continued rediscovery of independance combined with absence making the heart grow fonder etc etc. :) Much, much worse things happen to people all the time, and I think professionally its probably good and exciting for dh (though he's moping a bit down the phone too!)

We go the ''four sleeps'' a week apart now, and regularly did fortnight stints in the Italian situation, and we're going to make sure we don't go a month with out seeing each other this time. I look forward to seeing Brussels (once I've worked out the best way to get from Waterloo to st Pancras with a suitcase and a walking stick!)

I'm also designing some personal challenges for the upcoming months with spends etc. Very MSE. And see how much more I can physically do. A little challenge is good for personal progress.:)
