I'd like a little shed at the bottom of my garden like this I have decided.
I don't think I'd ever get it through planning permission, though.
I quite like the hobbit house, but wouldn't want one... it's a bit creepy/scarey. Nice idea, but I don't like the gnarled trees holding it up, nor the fear of the roof caving in.0 -
Are you going to be able to move any time soon? You don't really want to stay there with all the memory's.
Need to sort out a lifetime of accumulated junk from important stuff/things of note... then move the furniture about so it looks like a normal person's house (dated/needs updating), then just sit it out until somebody turns up that wants a do'er upper at a fair price. EAs want to play a game: put it on higher, see if anybody bites; reduce after six weeks .... one 200 yards away of this ilk sold in three months so it might go quickly. I'm mentally preparing for 6-9 months to completion, rather than assuming there'll be a queue0 -
You're dissin' the champers and then proposing to eat pizza hut?! (where is that shrug shoulders smiley when you need it?)HAMISH_MCTAVISH wrote: »Me!

Pizza Hut delivery then.....I think....0 -
I'm envious, I would love an empty house and the opportunity to have free reign on 'rationalising' - instead I just have to dream of having a shed...
I think my builder has started another job and we still don't have any heatingPasturesNew wrote: »No... I am now caretaker/security until completion.

No idea, but I hope so. The fridge is completely full of the stuff, and I STILL can't figure out why it's there....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
