I've only tasted a tiny bit of champagne on a handful of occasions - it's quite bitter and nasty. I remember tasting it and remarking I preferred Asti Spumante.... do they still make that?0

Hamish, why would syou serve friends not good champagne if you don't drink it...if its not yours why is it in there? And good looking people aren't alwas the best in bed.0 -

I've even had posh bubbly, and found it bitter and a bit yucky.
I prefer a really nice malt, myself, much nicer.PasturesNew wrote: »It's horrid... and I'll be alone. Surrounded by silence of the house, the lost old's belongings .... and thoughts/memories. Are you going to be able to move any time soon? You don't really want to stay there with all the memory's.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I've had the uber posh ones but would never buy them, and don't think they are always nicer.
Malt...we have a cracker of one here, but only have a tipple of it when very very hedonistic, but its beautiful.
Hmmm, I might give up alcohol while dh is away though.
Dear PN, I hope you do have a really good cry. You almost certainly need to very badly.0 -

It's not exactly "not good"... But it's not exactly "good" either.
Lanson black label.
I'd drink it if I had to, but I wouldn't buy it for myself.if its not yours why is it in there?
An excellent question..... And I wish I knew the answer!
Also, where the hell is the food that used to live in the fridge?
I probably should have paid more attention, but I was a bit busy and smiling and nodding seemed a harmless response at the time.....And good looking people aren't alwas the best in bed.
The "vice of reason" indeed.....;)
But as I married one of the best in bed, AND she's beautiful, it seems obvious the fuglies would have no chance of competing!!!“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Maybe some of the husbands are worth trying?
Oh, what am I going to do with out dhI had a phone conversation with my mother today who told me she thinks I should ''Get a lodger dear, a MALE lodger.''. Its not really a surprise my parents are separating I suppose...she gives terrible advice.
(I have decided to interpret the advice as being for non oestrogen charged company, looking ''fierce'' for intruders and being better than me at lifting things.)0 -
I'd like a little shed at the bottom of my garden like this I have decided.
I don't think I'd ever get it through planning permission, though.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
