We (OH, Isaac and me) are off for our proper summer holiday. We're going to the Isles of Scilly, as before, and will be back on 5th September.
Have fun, nice people!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

You too, but if what we're having here right now is anything to go by, it may be a rough crossing! :eek:0 -
Red Bull seem to cope best when they have time to prepare, like at the start of a season but i think we all want a change. I'd be happy if someone outside the top 3 teams gets on the podium
It's crazy when you look back

Classic lyricsI was happy in the haze of a drunken hour
But heaven knows I'm miserable nowIn my life
Why do I give valuable time
To people who don't care if I live or die ?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
I have to agree with LJ
Morissey is a monotone, whinging, anger inducing, daffodil waving @rse.0 -
Opinion on this please:
buddleia
part of my front garden in destined to be apricots and purples. Its got brasher than planned with gorgeous californian poppies, and I wonder if this buddleia is too bright. Not a gardening question, a colour one. My ''rose gold'' garden is veering to wards the brash purple and bright orange. With a big patch of soft fruit in the middle and this year, sunflowers!
I also like this verbascum for the same garden.
If only similar colours were as easy to find for shady areas!0
