You've exposed their cheating now :D

Do you still drive a silver car silvercar?

There are a couple of F1 teams that drive silver cars.

Hmm. 4 racing drivers drive silver cars. Silvercar drives a silver car.

Therefore silvercar is 4 F1 drivers.

    Logic: love it.

It's a glorious morning. There's not a cloud to be seen and the world is in technicolor with bright red bottlebrush flowers against the deep blue sky. There's even a slight haze coming off the gum trees by the harbour.

Shame Ars**al won this am but you can't have everything. Oh well.

Today it is 20 years since I married late-nearly-ex. I am not sure how I feel.

I can't imagine how you feel. I hope you have felt able to look back if you have wanted to. Have your children known it was a special day?

How lovely to have been you 20 years ago...full of hopes, dreams, with the self belief of the young.

Just as lovely to be you now, to have known love, grounded and wiser from all you have experienced , and through shared recipe, irreplaceable, unique to the two of you the legacy of your children .

I was the same for what would have been our 20th wedding anniversary in March last year.....part of me felt upset at not reaching it but the other part felt relief that our lives (mine and the children), improved after the divorce.

Our first son arrived 3 and a half years after we married (we had been together nearly 7 years by then!), completely unplanned, completely unexpected (completely impossible according to the doctors) but if I hadn't married him, eldest and the other two would not be with us now....it would have been too late.

In my other news, I have been trying to support a friend who is at the lowest I have ever seen her (we have been friends since we were 6) but it is feeling mighty dangerous to my own mental health as by trying to support her and advise her, I am having to confront my own demons, demons which I have locked away in a corner of my brain, never to be brought out into my minds focus.

Her problems are not made any easier due to certain life style choices she is battling, something which I think is just too much for her to try to address at the present time as the pressure a certain organisation is putting on her is just pushing her depression even further down....and at the same time, she is unable to seek treatment for the depression as medication is not allowed.

I know the sensible thing for my mental health would be to distance myself but I just cannot abandon someone I have been friends with for 35 years in her time of need...it just would not be fair or nice of me.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Sue, would it be abandoning someone if you persuaded them to seek professional help? It would definitely be better for you and would most probably be better for them.
