PL - the funniest / saddest bit of the letter was that his solicitor put that by meeting him at the train station (not the nearest one to here) would mean that ds wouldn't have to spend so long travelling by train and therefore would be to his benefit .... doesn't that just show how little he knows about his own son that he thinks ds wouldn't want to be on a train for long   No disrespect to any of you guys but I bet there isn't one person reading here who thinks ds would object to going on a trainMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

i feel bl00dy mad for you i am irate and i dont even know him or not in the situation but it makes me evil to think that he thinks he has your ds best interests to heart. He doesnt have a clue and I hope your ds when he is older sees his father for who he really is. A gutless, selfish fraud. Sorry ben ben just makes me so mad.

Me too PL, and the worst bit of it all is that its us as taxpayers that are paying for him to live inside and will be paying for him to live when he gets out, and are paying for his solicitors ... and yet I have to pay to fight him through solicitors / courts to protect what I believe are the best interests of ds   This country has become an absolute joke
And just to further irritate me, I've just applied for a tesco credit card, purely to boost my clubcard points, and I have been rejected due to a credit check  :mad:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Doesn't say why PL, just says you haven't passed their credit check  I have a tiny mortgage, no debts and an okay monthly income  Just not my week is it
Right, time to change my mood I reckon ... dinner is roasting nicely in the oven, footie starts in a bit and hopefully there will be some pennies coming my way during the matchI am wondering whether I ought to divert any pennies to a solicitors fund for a while rather than going into the mortgage pot, makes sense doesn't it?

Random question - if he gets out next month, what stops him from getting the legal aid? Is he planning to get a job (hard I guess considering his record)?
How long have you got before you have to reply to the solicitor?0
