Hello and thanks for dropping by :D

So here we are, another new chapter and who knows what this next 12 months will bring. For those of you who haven't read my previous ramblings I will link below to my other diaries, for those of you who have been reading can I just say thankyou for accompanying me on my journey :T

Quick summary of where I'm at so far ...

I'm a single parent, work p/t as a t.a, have been on a journey for 4 years trying to clear my mortgage, with an ultimate goal of getting there by my 40th birthday (2 yrs time) although due to events beyond my control over the last 12 months this will now not be achieved. I am instead having a mini-break from my mortgage saving for the summer and then will formulate a new plan in about a months time when some major stuff should finally be sorted and I will know if I am likely to receive any child maintenance for the foreseeable future ;)

I will work this weekend on updating my soa and reposting it here, and generally getting a clear idea of where I'm at financially and what my aims are for the next 12 months. Coffee anyone?? :D

Yay to new diary, I happened to be on the first page of your last diary recently and I noticed the date you started it and wondered whether you were going to start another new one.

Thankyou all :) Dangers, I wasn't sure whether to start a new one now or wait until everythings sorted in a few weeks time, but I decided I should carry on the normal pattern and not let it rule everything this summer :) (For those of you who are new here, I've had a yukky year and it has resulted in a trial in a few weeks time that will have big repercussions for me financially and also for my ds's future :o).

Pixie, I don't have any cake right now, however a lady at work yesterday bought in the most amazing raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes that she had made, so I am waiting for the recipe for that and then will be practicing making them and you guys here can be the guinea pigs :D

We've just been swimming, was only £3.65 for both of us so that seemed pretty good value to me :T Mums dog has gone home too (had a sleepover here last night).

Muppet ex has texted me to say he may be able to pay some money this week (long long story for the newbies ;)) and so could he have ds for an extra night next weekend? Does he seriously think he can just buy him like that?? I said no he can't as its the day we break up and I have already made arrangements for him to go to mums as I'll be out celebrating the end of term

Time now for a Harry Potter dvd fest with ds on the sofa and hopefully I can look at the soa while its on :)
