Another productive morning here, ds has been continuing with his planets project while I have been carrying on with my list. I have so far ... cleaned the bathroom, folded the clean washing, done one more load of washing, gutted all my paperwork and filed accordingly, filled in a form and stuck the envelope on ready to post, counted my £2 pot for holiday (£76
), checked all the banking and sorted my present box
Cup of tea time here me thinks
The banking wasn't as bad as feared (unless I've forgotten some major bits), I have £350 left for the rest of the month for food, petrol and anything else. I know this doesn't sound much but I have 3/4 a tank of petrol already and don't have any major journeys planned this month, and foodwise I now know exactly whats in the cupboards (4 tins of hot dog sausages, 5 tins of beans and 14 pots of custard), so have done a meal plan which will start getting some of these used up.
I do need to get ds some new school shoes as his are falling apart at the toe, but I won't be getting clarks / start-rite as theres only 6 weeks of term left. I have looked around online for cheaper ones but haven't had much luck so far, a trip to the shops is planned for tomorrow so will have a good look then.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

We ended up going to the shops today as ds was going up the walls being indoors all day. I didn't find any shoes for him, well none under £30, so will keep looking for them. I did buy him a new hoody (reduced to £7) and a Euro 2012 tee (reduced to £4) in M&S, and I got foos in Asda (£21) which included 6 lots of sawdust for the guinea pigs, they're 71p in Asda or £1.99 in tescos :eek:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hiya BB,
Just popping up again as i am on DS' 7th  pair of school shoes this year. He is a "run on toes" boy so he goes through the soles like they are paper. Anyway his last shoes came from here, they are of great quality and so far have lasted the best out of all the last 7!

Had a nice day again today, did some jobs indoors this morning, then posted some letters, went to the bank etc, after that ds went out with Mum and the dog and I went to see Dad. Mr S was working today
and we chatted a bit but not as much as usual as they were short-staffed today so he was pretty busy. I did ask him if he'd help me put ds's new bike together (birthday present) and he said yep no problem
Not sure when that will be yet as its not his birthday til the end of July and I will need to hide it in the garage, but I will have to figure out when we can do it

Morning all, qualifying bet done for a match tomorrow, ds is dressed and breakfast done while I'm being lazy in my dressing gown
We're off to the local M&S in a bit to get their £10 dine in offer, its the only chicken ds will eat, and even though I don't drink wine its still a great offer; £10 for a huge chicken that will last two or three meals, a side a dessert and a bottle of wine. the chicken on its own is normally £7.15 and the wine £6-7, so its worth doing and I can save the wine for presents / school fayre etc.
The sun is finally shining here today, I want to get the guinea pigs clean this morning, ds bed changed, the car cleaned inside and out and go over to Mums later too. Have a good dayMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
