Welcome FLM, and thanks Pixie for explaining the subscribing thing :) Pixie, are you the same as pixiechick?? Just that yesterday pixiechick was quoted in the Daily Mail re. Martin selling this site, and I wondered if it was you?? :D:D

So far I have only managed to strip my bed, clear the washing mountain and clear my inbox. The footie is actually quite dull but I can't quite be @rsed to get off the sofa and do anything else :o

No, I've not made any comments at all, least of all ones that have been quoted in the DM! I've been pretty rubbish with posting recently, I've let my diary die a lonely death and haven't really been posting anywhere:o

Me too, I don't know if its because I don't have so much money these days so I am not able to save as much and have lost some motivation, or whether I've just got lazy or whether I'm just a bit happier these days and am therefore spending a bit more?? ... I don't read other diaries like I used to either, keep thinking its a phase and I'll get back to it soon but it doesn't seem to be happening for some reason :o

I won an ipad 3 this week -it hasn't arrived yet but I'm very excited as it was definitely a want and not a need. I'm a bit bemused at the amount of apps available but have noticed you can earn quidco simply by visiting certain stores and checking in with their app. I like my gadgets to earn their keep ;)

You know how someone lightly brushing against / touching your arm is supposed to be a sure fire flirting sign, well I've never got that, always seemed a bit odd ... anyway, today when I went to visit Dad I was chatting with the guy there (he's gonna need a name isn't he), anyway, my Mum had turned up to see Dad too and shes in a huff with me at the moment (long story), and as he was going off to get someone a drink he just gently put his hand on my arm and said "go and speak to your Mum" ... and I haven't been able to get it out of my head all day :o:o I don't get this, he's soooo not my type, he's a million miles away from what cutie was like, yet I can't get him out of my head :o and I know it may not have been flirty, it may have just been meant in a caring kinda way (although we do seem to be finding lots of excuses to chat while I'm there ;) ), but it has bowled me over all day, thats sad isnt it :o:o

Rug doctor is here :D:D I thought I'd better get there early today in case lots of people had the same idea over the bank holiday weekend, but it was fine, so £40 gone but hopefully sparkly carpets headed my way later today :D

I need to tidy up first, I can't be moving furniture and stuff until its done, but theres no changing my mind now :)

So far I have done both bedrooms and half the lounge. Waiting for that half to dry before I can put the sofa etc back and do the other half. The bedrooms don't look much different tbh, but the lounge bit is already looking much much better and the water that comes out of the machine each time looks like someones tipped a huge muddy puddle out :D:D Not sure my neighbours are loving the noise of it too much on a sunday but hey ho :o:o Luckily the sun has now decided to come out here so hopefully they will dry a bit quicker. My windows are all wide open and it is lovely and warm :)
