Asda misprices & discussion thread - claim your £2 giftcard for over-prices

Bringing up an old thread here, but does anyone know if the gift card policy is still the same?
I bought some cooked chicken breast strips in Asda Havant, labelled as £2 but charged at £2.50. Went to CS and got my 50p back after the cashier said "bless you" out loudly, like I was being silly for querying 50p at 9pm on a Saturday night. I then asked if they still do the gift card but was told "it is only if you go home first then come back, because that inconveniences you".
Well, never heard this one before.0 -
They were still giving out the £2 gift cards the last time I had an overcharge in February.0

I got a £2 gift card today after being overcharged. I had to ask & one member of staff said I could not have it because they had refunded me the overcharge
Someone (more senior, I suspect ) said that I was right but she continued to make me feel like a criminal throughout my shop.
I am still upset 6 hours later0
