Hello Ruby, just finished reading your diary and subscribed

My DD was an absolute nightmare from 14 to 19, a bit of a worry until she was 22 and now at 32 is one of the highlights of my life. It does get easier honestly, although for some that happens when they leave home.

I have a similar amount of debt to you, with a long way to go before I'm DF and an OH who glazes over when I try to get him involved in our fight to become DF. I also moan a lot on my diary as it helps me to get rid of the frustration

Good luck in your fight, I'll be with you for many years to come

Vent as much as you need to on here, sometimes it's better out than in and this is an anonymous way of doing so without hurting anyone's feelings. I know only too well how difficult they can be at times. I don't doubt that you are not picking sides, some children are just harder to cope with than others.

We are here to support you, not judge you.

Another one here from the Mrs PG, granny and beanie set of friends! Welcome to the group:T

My DS2 was an absolute nightmare. I prayed that they would bring back national service and keep him until he was 30 :o He was horrible, rude, smoked, smelled, messy to the extreme and got into trouble with the police. I love him and hated him at the same time. He came out the other side and is one of the most charming lovely young men you could ever wish to meet. It's a bendy tunnel and the light may be just around the corner or just a bit further down the way.

Welcome Piquant and hello to all!

This is a very quick visit to say I am still alive but still without a laptop. This iPad is horrendous to use .... or maybe it's just me. I am currently trying to start a new snowball as my old one is full of mistakes and is annoying my 'OCD' head :) and I feel like I need to start a shiny brand new one for the new year.

Hope to be back posting properly soon.

    Happy Valentines!

    Great to see you Ruby.

Persevere with the ipad mini, you will get used to it ! Its the whole predictive text thing that throws me as I always type in such a rush, I don't read what my words get changed to and have sent the strangest emails / messages to people ! Serves me right for not reading what I write really...story of my life.

Martin the Sheepdog sounds lovely. Hopefully you will enjoy having him lodge with you.

Good to see you have Great Aunt Piq and our very own Lovely Granny here with you . They are both full of words of wisdom, I , on the other hand just ramble away to my hearts content, generally making no sense whatsoever !! :rotfl:

    Take Care xx

Hi Ruby. I've read through your diary from the start to the present today and wanted to send you sympathy and respect for sticking with what sounds like an incredibly tight budget - and still managing to retain a sense of humour :)

I've subscribed, even though I have two daughters (aged 3 and nearly 6) and your trials with your three are making me nervous about the future ;)

I hope you get a bit of good luck soon, I think you're due :)

Mortgage Free and Debt Free how lovely that sounds !

You are far braver than I putting your DFD in your signature. Mines too scary to even contemplate I'm afraid !

    Enjoy the rest xx

    Hi Ruby,

Long time lurker here. So glad you have a plan, when I read your post previously I was so sad, and then to see you have decided what to do made me :D.

I assume you also have a plan for the inbetween bit, from selling your current house, sorting full & finals for the dmp and then buying the new home?

I wish you luck with your new plan...
