My FIL was lovely, used to tell me dirty jokes when he thought no-one else was listening , then giggle in a very unseemly fashion, So unlike him really, But I think I was the only DIL that he showed that mischievous side to, I felt lucky to have known him .Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -

I hope your oh's company do actually allow him to drive the van for personal use. A growing number of companies don't due to Tax implications (and the fact they have to treat the vehicle as a ;benefit in kind' and charge him more Tax.Never Knowingly Understood.

Depending on what your oh does for a job, it could still be worth bringing the van home as he can use it to got to/from work so will save on travel costs.

Ps... when we were living on the narrowboat dh threw my 110 pound watch away in the bin, which ended up in a large skip, did not realise until way too late.. He also did this with my passport fortunately he went skip diving and managed to retrieve it... well I wasnt going to...:) x0 -
