    How old is your second daughter? I only ask because I remember being an absolute shocker in my late teens. When I think of the things I've said to my poor, loving parents!

    I just remember having a lot of anger, and having nowhere to really put it. The people I loved were the ones that took the brunt of it. My parent were also in a lot of debt and on a low income, and it made me feel very jealous of my friends who were able to move out to go to uni, go on holiday and suchlike because their parents were paying for it all. Whereas I was studying full time and working pretty much full time and it gave me a lot of resentment.

    I'm not trying to say this to make you feel bad, it is absolutely not your fault and it was absolutely not my parents fault; but I was young and stupid and just full of jealousy.

    I guess my only advice would be just to wait it out? I'm sure it's very difficult, but it's difficult for her as well. She needs to grow up a little (a lot) but it's frustrating for the both of you. I can assure you if she's anything like me she will one day turn round and be very grateful for you, as I am to my parents. They did their best, as I'm sure you do, and that's all anyone can ask for!

    Didn't mean to pry or give unwanted advice, just my perspective from the other side! Feel free to ignore me :)
