    Hi all,

Lara - so sorry to hear about your purse. That is terrible :(

Cinny - yay for the money that is amazing!!!

Wendz - glad Poppy had a better sleep. Max was the opposite. He loved his moses basket and I had to take him out of it at 10 weeks as his head was hitting off the top of it.

Morning everyone else. Have had a very busy week so apologies for not responding to everyone. OH is still in a lot of pain but working from home today. So much for my relaxing time before the new baby arrives. Now I have to collect/bring Max to creche and do all the houseworl etc. Am feeling very sorry for myself. And to top it all off, baby is lying sideways (transverse) so I might need a section. Money seems to be just escaping from our bank account and I have never seen it look so bad. I wish something good would happen to us :(

Girls girls girls!! (And I'm not talking Mötley Crüe!) The cheques here, for more than I expected. £14,000!! :j Excuse me while I go die.

I am so jealous!! I think I would die if a cheque for £14,000 landed on my doorstep :rotfl:
Now be honest how quickly did you take it down to the bank? I would have sprinted (and I dont care if i'm 32 weeks pregnant :rotfl:).
Seriously though have fun spending it!!

Your poor OH CMD, hop he is in less pain soon. Hope baby turns for you, there is still time! I hope you don't have a c section but as long as baby gets out safely that is the main thing.

Oh *HUGE HUGS* CMD, that's very stressful. I hope something really really nice happens to you soon! And crossing my fingers that your little babe will engage properly.

Cinny, YAY!!! about the cheque, that's totally amazing. I laughed at your post, it sounds like you will really enjoy the freedom to buy those little things like sports clothing without worrying about it. Can you share some luck with me, Tete and CMD??!! Haha!

Well actually I am not feeling too bad today, as the house insurance will cover all but £100 of the missing stuff, and even the cost of getting the locks changed, so that's pretty awesome. It's the first time ever I've claimed on insurance though, and I'm almost 30. Feeling very grown up.

Wendz sounds like you've got some lovely plans, glad Poppy slept well :)

Amy, hugs - hope your home life calms down too.

    Hey Everybody,

Sorry I haven't been on been busy trying to clear the decks before I take a week off. I have one thing left to do today and that is me for a weekly. Heading up towards Dinah and NIM country for a few days for Sister's wedding.

Money not looking too bad but would help if the flat was let out.
  • My country too Poolie!! Hope the wedding goes well!

Ah Lara, so glad you've managed to claim on the insurance, what a relief, tho the lost £100 sucks still.

Hugs CMD! Will OH still be off when the baby arrives? What will happen with his paternity leave? Make sure it doesn't get swallowed up in the being-off-work-with-broken-bones-because-the-boss-ran-him-over!

Enjoy the wedding poolie ( my phone wants to change your name to poppies!) :)
