Lucky you. Bet you can't wait
I've got 4 weeks left and counting. i can't wait. tempted to finish earlier but can't afford to and really need to get my NVQ finished so it's not left hanging over me while I'm off. I'm nearly there now though.
The 4 weeks will fly. My last few weeks did anyway. Yes - can't wait to finish up and never go back!!!
How many weeks are you now? Are you getting lots of kicks? Any feelings about what the baby might be? You won't need a double buggy will you?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I'm 28 weeks now. baby has moved though so more wriggles than kicks at the moment. We asked at the 20 week scan if they could tell the sex and were told it's a boy so we'll have one of eachdo you know what you are having??

Aw CMD I'm feeling for you over here
I hope your OH understands how you feel and ho busy you are! no doubt that overtime and the relocation money would really make things easier, especially now I assume you will be on materinity pay and will have the little one to look after!! My OH is like that though, totally hates being pushy and asking for things, even when you are entitled to them! It annoys me sometimes!
Ah well! got 2 planned reviews to write today and thats good because ussually I completely struggle with what to write about!! I'm about £2 away from a voucher though now which wierdly makes me more determined! I know it will just slump though when I get to £0 again and have to work it all the way up!
Cinny i am still amazed at that cheque! I even entered a competition for a £500 reiss voucher in the hopes some good luck would rub off on me!! haha!
I've updated my ticker!! I've taken £50 off for the £30 I should get this week sometime and the other £20 which I had from my mum last weekI need to get back on the surveys band wagon I think though.. any reccomendations/reminders of sites I might be forgetting? I did a survey on quidco but the 70p hasnt shown up anywhere..!?

Have already PM'd you Lara but just to say again, LOVE the photies, so gorgeous, looks a dreamy day!
Argh CMD, it's awful always having to be the organiser I know - especially when it's specifically relating to him - how annoying. Try not to break his other leg eh?
Tink you're doing well on the reviews! I lost the will with them when the system changed and when I logged into my account at the start of the challenge most of my points were expired or due to so I gave up on it. I do want to copy a lot over to Ciao though, and also Amazon in the hope of getting a Vine invite! Will put it on my list for when I get back from hols.
Had a moment of relief this morning, logged into internet banking for the first time since payday and had no money to change to Euros, but then remembered I'd piggybanked some money away for my motoring offences, then paid for them and not repaid my main account so that's my holiday spends sortedThe blanket I was crocheting has become a cushion because I just haven't had the time, so I'm cracking on with that this evening.
Cinny, tell us what you bought!!
Hope everyone's wellx

hey all, hope you're having good weekends.
Cinny, that's super exciting about banking your cheque - I'm a bit jealous too! You're so sweet wanting to splash out on your family.
SO rubbish about your bag, Lara, especially with all your wedding gift vouchers in itare you honeymooning at some point or just enjoying some quality time with your new hubby?
CMD, sorry you're having a tough time of it - must be such a relief to be finishing work on Monday! But still not ideal to be running around after your family when you should be taking it easy. And you can't even hold it against OH for being run overbut he definitely needs to get his bum in gear chasing up overtime pay.
Tink, you're doing pretty well with the challenge - fingers crossed that some of Cinny's luck comes your wayLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hi
I know I don't post often but read this article and thought of Birdie's friends. The bit that made me laugh was where it said that some guests have to bring their own tableware :rotfl:
I guess we are in the minority expecting to go to a BBQ and have the food provided.

Starnac - So glad your OH is okay. It's not even worth thinking about what could have happened. Seems like it turned out well in a bitter sweet kind of way. That's an amazing amount of money to have off your mind!Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Cinny, tell us what you bought!!
I feel like I'm bragging, but seeing how you askedMainly the typical; make up, clothes, shoes, perfume. Got a really pretty black and orange coral jumpsuit. Oooh, and a leopard print house broom! And a shiny new Dell laptop
Called Pablo. Just waiting on the pennies to clear so we can book the holiday, and we should get the kitchen quote this week too. I can link to what we're having if anyone's interested. OH was saying last night that he thinks we've got the balance of treats, improvements and savings around right. It's quickly spent though!
That's crazy EE! I can't blame people for watching the pennies but it just seems beyond tight. Your house, your party, your choice - if you can't afford to feed your family and friends don't have a friggen party in the first place!0 -
Morning,
Hope we all had good weekends. Mine was OK, only ended up going to southampton for day as OH had to use car for work but my sister and her bf were heading down there so we got a lift with them. Went round my friends for lunch, her little boy is so funny. Didn't do much yesterday.
OH is still working long shifts so looking forward to when can spend some time with him again!
Cinny - sounds like you have been having fun spending, got some nice things by the sound of it. I love hearing about a good shopping trip!
EE - yes that is strange we are in the minority! Oh and hello!0
