Does this mean that it doesn't come with the UK power adapter? Can a Kindle still be used without a power adapter i.e. recharged through a desktop computer? I'd love to buy a Kindle at this price, but the lack of power adapter is worrying me... :undecided

You can pick up a kindle power adapter for around a fiver, delivered, on ebay

the brand new one I bought last week didn't come with a power adaptor.... it charged fine through the laptop x (& if I'd seen this first I'd have bought a refurbished one).
