Man, my last post was mammoth.

Lara- that is complete crap, hope they catch the little sods and/or you get the insurance payout.

Zig - Thanks. OH not back til mid September, worse luck. Unfortunately as neither of the power cuts was for over 18 hours we have to claim off our own insurance which I think is stupid but ho hum. Pash- Kiwi/Aussie word we both seem to use it.

I like the word 'pash' :D I just say smooch to be honest. Smoochy smooch!

It does sound like some horrible luck there Amy, how weird about the cut off times to claim. Surely 12 hours is long e-bloody-nough, I hate how Councils are so picky about what they will and won't sort. Is your eldest free of Pox now? Had to giggle at the devil children though, poor you! Feel free to vent on here, like Zig said. I guess we all try and be here for each other the best we can via screens!

Excited about the kitchen man coming today - I've spoken to OH and we know what we want in terms of tops and doors but picking is all on my shoulders  But last night my Dad said if we buy the kitchen, then he'll sort out getting it fitted. Or, the company at least will. I'm a little sad I'll have to say tatty-bye to yellow walls though :(

I forgot to say yesterday, the rip didn't hurt too much. Just a little sore, the tattoo underneath is fine though. Just about healed! Looking very pretty for a death cupcake :D

Lara- really sorry to hear about the bag, that is horrible!

Cinny - sounds like you have the money all planned out well. I love it when there are cats abroad, I always end up taking lloads of pics of them rather than the holiday haha.

Amy - sorry to hear about rubbish time you have been having, hope things get better.

Poppy had her first night in her cot (been in moses basket until now) and slept well, only waking up once so feeling much more refreshed this morning.

Girls girls girls!! (And I'm not talking Mötley Crüe!) The cheques here, for more than I expected. £14,000!! :j Excuse me while I go die.

Glad Poppy did well in her cot, slightly more happy you got some proper rest Wendz!

What are everyone's plans for this weekend? I'm finally going to go and get some proper clothes for working out in. A bra and a pair of OH's boxers (unworn, not ratty old ones ) just doesn't cut it for support, for some reason.

OMG think i would faint if i got that much money!

I think you deserve to splash out on some fitness clothes hehe.

This weekend me and Poppy are going down to southampton in the morning, going for lunch with two of my friends and one of thems little boy, then going to go and see OH's family as their local carnival if it isn't raining. My sister and her bf are going to be coming up here tonight and they are also heading to southampton this weekend so at least i will have some adult company.

They sound like lovely plans Wendz :D I hope the weather stays nice for the carnival. Must be nice to know you'll have adult company, I can imagine it's easy for you brain to go a little smushy being around a baby all the time!

And to be honest, I'm shaking! :o I think it'll fully hit me once it's in the bank, I still can't believe it. It'll just be nice to treat my family, yano? There's a top my Sister wants from topshop so I'm going to buy her that tomorrow for sure, and get my Brother something for his house. Very excited for tomorrow now, we were just going to stay around the village and watch Knucklehead on Sky! Eep!!

Yay Cinny, bet your gonna love putting that in the bank - enjoy.

Wendz - Glad Poppy gave you a more restful nights sleep, the day is always easier to face on a good nights rest. Sounds like you have a nice few days planned as well, shame your OH can't go with you though.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

Morning all, just bobbing in to say hi (so so busy at the mo!) and there's so much to comment on!

Lara that is TERRIBLE about your bag! I was going to say something about getting the gift cards cancelled thinking they'd be able to trace them to you but I think I was getting confused somewhere between wedding lists and bank cards :( Awful awful awful - at least you weren't hurt though that's the main thing, huge hugs, and lols to the s w a n k hehe!

Brilliant news Cinny, but you are NOT ALLOWED to use that extra £1000 to win the challenge outright, right?! ;)

Hi Amy, hope you're feeling better this morning! Can't you put the poorly child in 'quarantine' to prevent the spread of infection (and stop them causing havoc)? :D

Really have to go - SOOOO busy :(:(

Well, Dinah said it's any money we wouldn't get normally... so, you know.. I'm taking y'all down!! :D

Eep, sorry to hear you're so busy Tete! I do love how when we're all busy we still make 5 minutes for MSE :D Hope you get time for decent breaks, although being busy does tend to make the work day go super quick. You're the total opposite to me today though, I'm waiting for the kitchen guy and bored!
