I think I'm going to send them a whiney e-mail saying that Archers! Also going to complain about the customer service since they only told me it was sold out once I'd chased them to find out where my ticket was! Not very good at all!

Sorry Poppy wasn't very good last night, hope you get a better night's sleep tonight! How's your OH doing? Any more stupidly long shifts?

LOL Poddle, I can just imagine dragging my Mum to Peacocks to see their copy dress!

Had a really frustrating morning today, work driving me mad because nothing bloody works! I seemed to get things set to rights before lunch though so I'm hoping that this afternoon is a little better, and I keep telling myself that I'm not in tomorrow so I can focus on that! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

OH is ok thanks. Just gone into work again, hopefully finishing about 8 and then starting again at half 4 tomorrow morning! On the plus side lots of overtime and he said he will buy me a blender so i can make Poppys phone for when i start weaning her hehe.

Definately send a complaint in Birdie, is very bad customer service.

Glad your OH is ok! Was talking to OH about all the police working extra hours this morning and was wondering whether they were on salaries or whether they would be paid overtime. So glad to hear that he will at least be getting some extra money for all these extra hours he's working!

I have a relative who lives in Yorkshire, he is the police and he has been called down to work in London for the next week I think.
At least the extra police seem to be having the desired effect!

Wendz as long as you don't end up putting your phone in the blender you'll be fine!

It is quiet on here today! I've been trying to keep away and get some work done as my to do list is looking quite scary, and its actually all work work for a change too! But then I got something in my eye and its made it all sore and scratchy, so I thought I'd just feel sorry for myself instead!

You should definitely email Birdie, although if you don't get a reply you might end up even more cross?

Also, totally forgot to say yesterday, hope your OH is ok CMD! Very sad about the ring but at least he is safe - is he back home now? Wishing him a speedy recovery x

Hi all, I'm busy-busy-busy here too, this is the problem with holidays, you have to work twice as hard for a week before you go and twice as hard for a week when you get back!

That's a shame about Buckingham Palace Birdie and I agree very bad customer service as you had to chase them. If they offered you free tickets or something would you take them, what with the expense of getting down there?

Well done on the £7ish Poddle, my challenge has well and truly halted til after the holiday and payday. Though I did go through Quidco when I booked the Paris hotel last night so I haven't gone completely off the rails!

Is Poppy teething yet Wendz, is that why she's restless? Poor thing, must be horrible - toothache's bad enough when you know what it is! Bless you OH buying you a blaneder with his hard-won riot money! Glad everything seems to be dying down a bit :)

Would be ace if your baby's born on 5th Nov Starnac, that's its birthday parties sorted!

    How are you feeling Flower?

Who knows how the government will pay all the overtime though! Apparently those coming in from other forces are getting a good deal with pay!

Haha Shrimpy, wouldn't surprise me if i did put a phone in the blender when tired.
