Ooh yes the overtime will be lovely Wendz.
LOL at your baby brain!
I've heard some of my FB friends saying that family members are being sent South to help the police, bit worrying for them. Also makes you worry that diminished numbers leaves it a bit open for chancers up here. Not that North Yorkshire would get any rioting, the place is too sleepy to get worked up into that kind of a frenzy!
Watched the news last night and there was this guy supporting the riots saying that 'It's because of the Polish taking our jobs'... seems like everyone's making up their own little excuse to go on the rob!
ETA: I don't think we'd go if they offered us just some free tickets to go to the Palace, considering how much it costs to get to London (and the time...) for the sake of a couple of hours. I feel like they should offer me some sort of genuine apology though, gits.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. How are you feeling Flower?
I am feeling good thank youthink it was definitely the right decision to go on maternity leave a bit earlier. Feeling nice and relaxed and very positive at the minute
Who knows how the government will pay all the overtime though! Apparently those coming in from other forces are getting a good deal with pay!
Yes my uncle who is down in London working said he couldnt really refuse to go after what they offered him. You're right though does make you wonder where they are suddenly going to magic all this overtime money from!
Mind you every single police officer deserves every penny they have got from working through these riots - I would of been running in the opposite direction :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
A sob letter has been written since I can't find an e-mail address, will be posted tonight!
Mmmm cheese, feeling jealous Tete!

What a pain about the tickets!! I agree though, you should at least get a proper apology. Boo to them, right in their faces!
And yes, it's Zumba for the Wii. I missed the post today so all I have to show for my purchase so far is a little red cardI'm just faffing on the Wii fit for now, I went to do The Shred one afternoon and I flung my arm out funny and ripped my tattoo where it's healing still
Ouch!
Glad you're feeling well Flower, and hope you manage to catch on your sleep tonight Wendz!
So glad the riots seem to have died down now. At least your weekend can go ahead, Birdie
Had a call while I was up in the next town helping my Grandparents, my cheque is being sent out recorded today. SWEET MERCY! Hopefully I'll be able to get it in the bank tomorrow afternoon, we've got a guy coming to measure and plan our Kitchen tomorrow so it'll be nice to know we can go ahead with it near straight off0 -
Ooooh how exciting Cinny! Will you be photographing it to make us jealous?!
Ouch to ripping the tattoo, hope it's not too sore. Exercise is clearly bad for you! I'm walking like John Wayne today as I over-did it a little last night on the leg weights!
I hate missing parcels, how's it work that when I lived in a dinky village my parcels would go to the local PO and I could collect my parcels at any time before the PO closed at 5.30. Now I live in a city (albeit a very dinky one!) and parcels are held at the collection office which is only open between 8 and 12.30! Surely life's supposed to be easier when you don't live in the sticks?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Eek about the cheque , will be amazing to see that much in your bank account.
Flower - glad you are feeling positive , sounds like it was the right time to take maternity leave!
Just has Poppy weighed, she is 12lb 14 so still quite a little one bless her.0 -
Just checked to see if I had any extra challenge money, but no. I do have £100 more than I thought in my holiday spends account though which is a good news, paid it on after payday and had forgotten! I usually know my balances to the penny but with a holiday and the move in the next 3 weeks I'm a bit all over the place. My sig is a bit out too but will see what I'm left with once its all blown over and go from there! Never know when to expect MS money in either, just get a pleasant surprise every so often.

It took me so long to write that post - ouch to the tattoo ripping! You can't see me but I'm doing a mighty sympathy wince!
