Ahh thats cats all over for you! OH was most put out when he spent £15 on a new bed for our cat and she chose to sleep in the box the bed came in instead of the actual bed :rotfl:
Paper bags are also a favourite for our cat.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Oh he's fine. He's told them he isnt going. Think they are just ringing round all security to see if they will go, said they will get someone else in to cover him at work. But he's said hes not going. Think hes more worried about leaving his car in Birmingham than anything else :rotfl:
By the sounds of it they have the police out on the street and security guards in the Bullring.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
:rotfl: I re-covered our cat beds so they all matched - do you think they'd go near them afterwards? They just relocated to the sofa and looked at me with great disdain!
They keep mentioning Birmingham on the news but haven't really said anything about what is happening there.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

Dont think its anywhere near on the scale of London. From what OH has said, his boss said when he phoned that people are smashing shop windows on New Street and looting, dont think theres been any fires etc. Apparently its 'under control' but who knows!
Ahh you've got to love cats and their ways :rotfl:I often wonder what ours is thinking when she sits there looking at me with a complete look of disgust on her face!
Shes sulking with me at the minute because I have stopped her going in the spare room as I dont want her going in there when its a nursery.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Have you seen this? He has cat behaviour to a T, I love him!
Good luck with being debt free by Christmas, it's a challenge but I think you can do it!
Just been watching the news, frst time I've really seen anything properly about the riots and I was shocked, they're like scenes from an apocalypse film with all the looting. And now it's spreading to Birmingham, scaryWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I love Simons Cat :rotfl: OH showed me one of the videos a couple of months ago and I sat and watched them all afterwards - so accurate!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hey Ladies
Rioting kicking off in Hackney! I nearly got the bus up Mare Street on the way to book club. Took the overground instead which was bunged because all the busses are off. There's no justifying violence, but to be honest I can see why young people might feel they have no future here. People are disenfranchisedthey have nothing to lose. We have a consumer culture where what you buy is who you are, it doesn't surprise me looting is high on the agenda. I'd love to see politicians mouthing off about consumer culture instead of just saying these people should accept their position at the bottom of the heap. It's totally wrong and really stupid to riot, but shouldn't we be trying to understand the reasons and addressing those instead of brushing it all under the carpet?
News is nuts at the moment with all this economic stuff as well... Hope your OH is not called out Wendz, I really feel for the PoliceI really love London, I hope people don't get put off coming here and enjoying it. Hackney has changed so much in recent times too.
