my DH always gets asked out by teenage girls which shocks him (he's quite shy bless him). I find it quite funny especially since I was a teenage girl when I started going out with him (alllllllllll those years ago :o )

    Tee hee hee!

I only ever get asked out by old foreign men! But Zig's right, it doesn't mean young men don't fancy you! Bravo you on your date - was it the first one?

And good on you Zig :D if it feels right, it's not too soon and you can enjoy that buzz you get from flirting with new people and a bit of drama! (and snogging)

My friend's little girl calls it 'whit woo' kissing :) which is a much nicer expression!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I totally snorted at that!!!!! I just second what I said before about being happy! :)

Well done on the date Tete and being all 'Single and ready to mingle' :p Zig's right, even if it wasn't right you're not left wondering 'What if?' now!

Borough Market could be good. Might come as a surprise but I quite like my food :p We went to the V&A last year to see the Grace Kelly exhibit, I didn't really 'get' the rest TBH, seemed a bit everything and nothing??? I was probably in the wrong frame of mind! Really want to go the Natural History Museum, depends on Mama though, she pretends to be cultured but has a really short attention span! ;)

I absolutely had a 'hang about' moment yesterday in a changing room, eugh, my jiggly mid-section close up is not a pretty sight! Signing up to the gym this week!

Not 100% sure about the riots but my understanding is that a guy got shot by police last week (which is being investigated but the photo on the BBC was of a man doing what looked like a gang symbol so I think he was a baddie...?) and there was a peaceful protest in Tottenham which somehow escalated and turned into Beirut. Not sure if the MPs being on their summer holidays was a coincidence or not!

My OH seems to attract the younger ladies too, probably because he still thinks and acts like he's 18!

Got a bit annoyed (not really the right word but nearing on annoyance so I'll stick with it!) last week as there are a couple of young girls who seem to always 'run into' OH when he's out and one fancies the pants off him and she hates me because I had the audacity to marry him. We ran into her friend last week, I didn't know who she was and when she introduced herself to me she didn't have a clue who I was... I said I was his wife and she did a bit of a double take then continued to be all flirty and gross around him. I wasn't too happy! It didn't help that OH carried on talking about these girls for about 20 minutes after she'd gone, I shut him up by saying, 'Oh I wish I had a couple of 20 year old admirers then I'd know how you feel!' :o I'm not very possesive over OH and leave him to do what he likes but I think that sometimes he can get a bit carried away with his freedom and doesn't know when to shut the hell up and tell the girls to back off! :p

Oh yes, Borough Market and Natural History sounds like a good day out. I have the best intentions of being cultured, but sometimes the gift shop really is the best bit. (And I work at a museum/gallery... now where's that really embarrassed looking smiley?!)

Hopefully it will be a nice day and then you can just enjoy a good wander in between.

Your summary of the riots seems fairly accurate according to what I've read! It's unbelievable - some of the images do look like the Blitz, and apparently kids as young as 7 have been involved in the looting,

That's awful. I hope it's only a temporary thing and he'll be working less soon. Especially when the baby is born.

Yes is only temporary, he told his manager he would take any overtime going up until the baby is born then once hes had his time off he wants to go back to his normal shifts.

Those are crazy hours Flower, seems like he's happily settled into his role of provider for you and the baby though :) Go easy on him with nappy duty ;)

Yes I think he secretly likes being 'the provider', has already told me I dont have to go back to work if I dont want to. I think I probably will even if just to get out the house for a few hours a week.
Will see how nappy duty goes for him :rotfl:but I guess it will be me doing it all anyway!

Birdie - natural history is good , is the museum of childhood the one in bethnal green? Bless your OH, i think they love a bit of attention, makes them feel likey still have it.

My OH attracts the older ladies more haha, they seem to love him.

Flower - good your OH is back to normal when baby comes. My OH was great at nappy duty on paternity leave but now hardly does i. I don't mind though as he does work hard and he does a good job of entertaining her.

Your OH sounds like such a sweetie Flower! :)

The Museum of Childhood is in Bethnal Green Wendz, might not go as it seems a fair schlep from where we'll be. I don't know, we'll see how we feel and where we find ourselves.

I know the feeling about the gift shop being the best bit Poddle! I think we spent as long in the V&A shop as we did looking around! At least most places have figured out that the gift shop is as much a part of the visit as the actual place you're looking around! We went into our cathedral a month or so ago and they even had a gift shop in there, we were tempted to buy loads of tat to remind us of our visit! ;)

Is quite nice the museum of childhood but not massive, worth going if you aren't too far from it.

Finally got round to doing flylady for the day, have hoovered lounge, hallway and in sofas. Looks a bit better anyway!
