Yes I think he secretly likes being 'the provider', has already told me I dont have to go back to work if I dont want to. I think I probably will even if just to get out the house for a few hours a week.
Will see how nappy duty goes for him :rotfl:but I guess it will be me doing it all anyway!

Aw, he does sound lovely! :)

Glad Mr Wendz is stepping up as well :D Sounds like you've had a busy day Wendz - we did lots of deep cleaning at the weekend, wasn't much fun, but SO nice to start the week in a spick and span flat.

    He has his moments :rotfl:

I'm jealous of all the cleaning going on!! One of the things I hare about OH being on nights is that I cant really do much cleaning in the house as I dont want to wake him up while he's sleeping during the day. He's just left to go to work so can get a bit done now, but always feel like i'm behind with the cleaning when hes on nights.
Four more nights then I think hes on days :D

Hope you managed to get some cleaning done Flower, it isn't really the end of the world so don't wear yourself out for it! I'm not keen on cleaning personally, I just like the end result!

In a bit of a pickle. Totted up all my food for today and I'm 200 calories short of my 'aim' And it leaves me at around the 1000 calorie mark if I don't eat anything. What am I meant to dooo?! I think one day being under is okay?

Just seen the news on the riots that they've had to draft Police in from another 12 areas. If it includes your OH Wendz, I really hope he's okay!

Fingers crossed he doesnt have to go.
Dont know why they dont send the army to help, apparently it would be undermining towards the police - no its called helping!

Would military presence not inflame the situation maybe? It must be a delicate balance to try to keep. Thinking of you Wendz and the other London girlies :grouphug: I saw a woman on the news earlier, the shop beneath her flat had been set on fire and they only just escaped with their lives, meanwhile people were running in and looting the shop - awful stuff.

Have spent all evening taking a laminator apart with my Dad, bless him! Couldn't do anything with it at work this aft so brought it home and we managed to get the offending non-work, covered-in-my-name items out. It makes a slightly clanky noise now but that's fine, it can't be traced back to me now! Phew!

1000 calories isn't much Cinny, I'd be fainting on that! Could you have a bowl of cereal or something?

Watching the news on the riots, heard they were looting in Birmingham New Street too but no mention on the news, its making me really ashamed of our country :( I really feel for all the police having to deal with this, and the people who will lose their jobs as a result of the fires etc. It just seems so pointless.

Yes have just seen that on BBC news. Had a phonecall off OH, apparently its no where near whats happening in London, but they have closed the Bullring and trying to get extra security staff there overnight. He has been asked to go (hes a security guard) but he has told them no way!

I agree I feel completely ashamed of the country we live in.

ETA: Tete glad the laminator problem can no longer be traced to you! Can just imagine you and your dad sat there trying to get rid of the evidence! :D

Also, have had £5.19 through from Amazon which has gone to the challenge. Would really love to be debt free by Christmas so have decided to set that as my goal - eeek! Wish I hadn't committed to such a spendy August now! Have started trying to pack but my cats just think I am bringing boxes home for their benefit, one is having an amazing time running around the lounge and dive bombing in and out of a box at the moment, they have so many toys but just aren't bothered about them, its sweet wrappers and boxes all the way!

Good work on the laminator Tete! Glad you got the incriminating evidence removed!
