Ooh Cinny, which tattoo are you getting tomorrow? Bravo on giving blood later! I couldn't give blood last time I went and I'm back and forth to the doctor getting blood tests and iron tablets etc And I eat just fine!

Hope the tablets sort you out CMD - no wonder you're tired, you've been pretty stressed lately and looking after poorly Max rather than taking care of yourself. A 4 hour nap sounds like a good thing for both of you :)

Good deal on the sky package, Flower! And the Amazon voucher sounds good too - every little really does help :D

I've listed a few bits on eBay too but not much interest so far. It is weird what sells, good luck with your battered document wallet, Tete :D

Archers, I like your style! That would be amazing, but I'd wait for some sensible advice - the act first, plan later approach isn't always best! (She says, speaking from experience)

And thanks all for your words of support re my reckless spending urges. You're all completely right, I need to rein myself in and plan what I'm going to do with all the disposable income I'll have when I'm debt free :o

ETA: Birdie, don't join the gym! It's a pretty good deal, but if you're already thinking that you won't go, you won't go! Stash the money you'll save every month for something special and set yourself a tough Wii/Dance programme (sorry I know you don't have wii, but can't remember the other thing, am old!)

I will do! We're going on this style. But having the banner under the frosting. It's the spice one I'm having. All skulls, bombs and bones! I'm already excited for the next ones - candyfloss, slushies, Alice in Wonderland 'drink me' bottles and 'eat me' cakes. I'm going to be dangerous once I've got the Hovis money (which I should have in a fortnight :j)

Is it really a year? Blimey! I have to say though Tete, you seem like a totally new person now. In a good way, of course! And yes, it was me :D Did you get the 20% off and free postage code for their website too? I have a mini stash of their masks now because of that :o But it made them something like 68p instead of £1 so it's okay, right? That's fine!!

Are you okay now Poddle? With my Sister, I more than think she's not eating right. I know she skips meals, and has starting eating silly portions of things because she put a little weight on. But she's 5ft8" (or maybe it's 9") and a size 4/6. It's a good thing she's got a bottom now! Hope your ebay things sell too! And good going resisting your urges, I did try to reply at the weekend but my internet connection is a little slopdosh. My advice was to go for it :o

In that case can you advise me on this dress? :D

I put the voucher in the recycling, didn't read it properly - will dig it out tonight.

Your sis is very skinny from what I've seen of her, I hope she's ok :( Is she still in America?

You think I seem different, really? I'm having a massive life crisis really at the mo. Went for a drink with two of the lads from work last week - one is four years younger and off travelling with his girlfriend, the other is four years older and just bought a house and had a baby. I felt very much caught in the middle of those two 'ideals', not knowing which I'd really like and feeling like all the time I can't decide I'm stagnating and doing nothing and staying in this job and at my Dad's and I just don't know what to do :o I don't know what I want which is the major problem, I need a life coach or something. Sorry, bit heavy for your Tuesday morning tea break girls!

Poddle says wise words about the gym Birdie - I think for some people, knowing that you've paid is a motivation to go so they're not wasting money, but are you one of those people? I'm totally into the parkrun - only been twice but it's really good. There are some really fit people there but some not very fit ones too and everyone's really encouraging. And it's free!

Can't wait to see a photo of the tat Cinny!

Tete - I think you should go travelling. A fella I know was dumped a week before his wedding last year and decided to go travelling. He never would have travelled with his wife to be as they had a house etc.

Anyway - I followed him on Facebook for the year he travelled and he blossomed. He is now back and is living in the UK (from Ireland) and appears to be so happy in himself. My Mum saw him at a family party recently and said he was with a girl and looked so happy in himself.

Don't stagnate - you will only regret it. I am not a life coach but what I would do if I were you is a person centred plan. When you get home tonight write down where you want to be (in life) in a years time. Then write down the steps you need to get there. It helps if you can do this with some friends, as they can advise, but it also works if you do it by yourself.

Fair play to your Dad. I like a man with principles!

Max slept from 8.30pm last night until 9.45am this morning so we are all refreshed!

Archers the code was hidden in my post, AZDM1. I've got an e-mail saying that my order has been posted so I'll let you know when the Amazon voucher arrives and if it's got any clauses! :) Going to use it to buy Dance Central for the Kinect :)

The good thing about the gym is that there's no contract, I can cancel whenever I want so it's not like I'm locked in for a year. I did actually get into it before my wedding, I loved getting stronger; I could squat OH and throw him around, it was brill! :p I'm weak again now, could barely support my own (sadly increasing) weight on Sunday whilst climbing about on big scary rocks. :o I can't really run (wobbly ankles and wobbly bum combined make a painful experience) so running clubs are out, I did get excited because I saw an ad round the corner from my flat for British Military Fitness 'Near Me' but looking into it the closest one is 25 miles away!

Where are you having the tattoo Cinny? Can't see the piccie (as usual!) but will have a peek tonight. I told OH I fancied something small and swirly on my wrist and he looked horrified! :rotfl:

I can't believe it was a year ago you moved in Tete! Wow, time really does fly. I agree with Cinny though, you're a new, totally brilliant, person now. :grinheart I know you're probably being a little glib about the life coach but my friend had a few sessions with one (kind of a mx between a life coach and a counsellor) and said that it was really good. Maybe having an impartial person to listen can help you make that decison of what you want to do next. Why not go on the Eat, Pray, Love tour of the world?! :) CMD says some very wise words too, she's a clever bean! :)

I like the Warehouse dress by the way, very you!

Achers, I say you should definitely go for it and buy tickets to Rio! I'd love love love to go, even though I don't really get along well with crowds and noise, I'd still love to go!

I'm going to finally see Bridesmaids tomorrow but it doesn't start 'till 9.10! What a time to start a film! I'm far too old to be staying out late on a school night! :o

Bridesmaids will be worth it Birdie. It's great :)

I have just ordered some stuff from Amazon and am bitter I can't sign up to Lovefilm and get the voucher but I am a member already! I ordered Max a Vileda kiddies mop, brush and dustpan and brush set. He loves using mine so I thought I would get him his own. Hey Cinny - maybe you could bring him along when you go cleaning. Although he is a bit of a whirlwind of destrcution rather than a cleaner :)

I also agree with Birdie that a few sessions with a life coach might be really good. It is something I am thinking about training to do, I would love to help people plan out their lives in a positive, non-judgemental way.

I was going to say just the same as CMD, but not put as well. Go travelling! That's was my Sister's reaction to her 'out of nowhere' break up, but she also seems like a totally different girl since her break up. Whenever I tell her she doesn't get it either, I think when it's yourself you don't really notice the changes. (and yes, Kate says buy the dress!)

I'm getting the tattoo on my arm, just above my Zuster tattoo. Then working from it for the rest of the sleeve. I think I've got OH's brain ticking for tattoos too as he came out last night explaining what he'd like. Might pay for him to get one as a super duper early Christmas present. They're not cheap though - my itty bitty cupcake is going to be about £45. But then again, it is going to last me another 60 years (touch wood :D)

Bless Max and his little cleaning things! Aww, my heart just smushed a little :D He can come help me anytime!

Ooh I just had to have a look and they're so cute! Just don't let him out of your sight with them! I remember getting a little cleaning cart when I was tiny and I liked to 'help' Mum do the housework, she left me in the kitchen one day and I'd managed to tip my little bucket of water all over the floor and was swishing it round with a rag! I thought I was helping, Cinderella did it so I was copying! I didn't realise that Cinderella didn't tip the whole bucket on the floor though... :rotfl:

Too true! I think it's normal to be a bit scared when your life is naturally heading in one direction (defined by a career, relationship, whatever) so when you have the opportunity to choose a path, where the chuff do you start?!

Maybe getting some perspective from someone impartial would be a good idea? I would support the idea of going travelling - it doesn't need to be a year in far flung places. You could use your £1000 from the challenge to take a few months in France/Spain which could lead to anything - new experiences, new job, new chap :)

Aw, bless the tiny cleaning things!

Cinny, you're such a contradiction of domestic goddess and wild child! The tat looks brill! How exciting about your Hovis money :D
