ETA: I know it's not Wrestlemania but TNA Impact films at Universal Studios every month (and it's free to go!) so we're hoping that we can catch it when we're there, OH is very excited at the prospect!

That would be awesome if you can get to a live show! OH watches that too but I can't really get into it. Will your OH be downloading Money in the Bank? It was the whole CM Punk vs John Cena story line that made me stay up to watch it live. I also got to see Alberto del Rio booty

I'm not sure about free quidco clicks though, but as far as I know most bingo sites put money from free scratch cards on as bonus credit now? Or others will suspend the account if you just do the freebies and don't actually pay. They started changing the rules almost daily so I stepped away!

OH is a bit of a come-and-go fan, he doesn't seem to get enough time to watch all the time, his friend keeps him up to date with the goss and tells him what he has to watch! Neither of us are into TNA but it seems mad to pass up the opportunity to watch it live-especially as we had so much fun watching one of those cheesy touring 'All American Wrestling' shows at the leisure centre last year and that was plain awful! I just wish they'd announce the filming date so I can add it to the itinerary!

Boo to the bonus credit! I don't like that, I've never won anything on a bingo site! The whole things a bit of a con really isn't it? You're just going to keep playing until you run out of money and just add more, but because you're 'only' adding £20 a time but 'playing with' £100 you feel like a winner!

There are a couple of bingo sites that have daily free games but, like everything else, they used to be ok and now rarely pay out anything, (although it is actual money) I have just got one to payout and am 70p off on the other - have been for a month! But no way am I walking away from that £9.30! Will put up details of anyone is interested but I wouldn't recommend them :(

Not sure about free clicks as I never got into those, I was wondering whether Slice the Pie was still any use though? I have an account with them but never got past one star so gave up (didn't try very hard in the first place to be honest)

EBay bids are up to a staggering 50p so looks like I will romp home in the challenge!

And I now am daydreaming about buying a magic desk and going to live on a farm so thanks ;) Haven't watched the happy egg thing yet as I'm at work but I have bought them in the past, usually get them from the farmers market or free range from Tesco but it does make you wonder what you can believe :(

aw Tete that's a lovely picture. Unfortunately that's not what barn eggs mean. Although it would be lovely

    That would be lovely :(

I'm with you all on the amount of stuff I seem to have - where does it come from? I can get rid of bin bags and still not have any more space!

We had a bit of a clear out too and made a wishlist of things to do/make or buy for each room in our flat. (Luckily it's only a small flat...) One of my projects is making some cushions so I will be checking out Tete's blog for tips!

OH and I did nearly have a fight about a storage bench we were trying to buy on eBay - he was holding out til the last minute and then my computer went on the go slow and didn't place our bid. Grr! We would have paid about £30 as it was just what we wanted and local and it went for £18.50.

Do you think that counts as a saving...?!

That wrestling stuff just goes over my head - I didn't understand any of your last posts Cinny and Birdie :rotfl:

Well done on your to-do list and SOA Dinah. (It's difficult to see where you could improve without taking into account your extra income, but definitely start putting some money aside monthly for Christmas, cars, unexpected bills, even if it's only £20.)

But naughty that you didn't relax! Half past ten on a Sunday night is not for chores!

Might as well share shrimpy, I'll check it out! I used to use Butlins but made the mistake of closing my bank account before withdrawing my 'free' money (about £13!) so I never got my money from them and couldn't ask them to fix it for me as they'd realise it was all from free scratchcards and refuse to payout! Thinking about setting up a new account but not really sure...

I'm actually considering getting back into Dooyoo, although the rules change on there confused me! Why do these companies have to keep moving the goalposts?!

How annoying about the bench! Hope you find another one soon and get your bids in on time!

I'm glad everyone else has the 'stuff' issue, was starting to worry that we had a problem! :)

I am on a mission to clear down my craft stash, once I get chance to actually sit down and make things (which means clearing out the desk first!). I'm planning on making boxes of about 20 mixed cards for Mum and SIL for Christmas, and I would like to actually make my Christmas cards this year (that's on my 101 things list!) so it should make a dent in the stash, as long as I don't add to it! Not to mention the empty frames lying around waiting to be magically transformed into works of not-quite-art-but-something-pretty, and the unfinished mini-scrapbooks... I really need to learn how to finish a project! Hey, if I actually manage to make some of this stuff and give it away as Christmas presents that's money saved for the challenge, so maybe I can use that as a motivator! :o

So they don't have to pay out.

I buy 'eggs for soldiers' - they're free range and 15p per box is donated to Help for Heroes - atm they're the same price as Tescos own free range eggs (although they are quite small). If they were full price I'd probably buy Tescos own instead (should go to the butchers in town though as they do local free range eggs £1 for 1/2 dozen but they're on trays not boxes and I'm worried I'll trip!)

Cinny you should go to Miami. You chose to be sensible and take the money not the car, so use some of that bonus money as a treat.

Aye I'm pleased with how the challenge is spurring people on. Bit dissapointed I'm not off the blocks yet - have loads of money in paypal but because NIM is a new ebayer they won't release the funds until people leave positive feedback, so we've got about £90 trapped in there, but have paid a lot out in postage charges the last few days. I'm thinking I need to have a seperate 'extra income' account like NIM does as running it off the bills account is causing some issues. I have a spare Barclays account, might try to find the card this weekend.

Did a petrol MS on the way into work this morning, love to start the day making money. I don't know how much is left in our petrol account for the month, but I think we might finish with £30 or so in there and 2 days of petrol left in the car, which is not much but it's a handy bit extra ready for next week's mega drive to France. Wanted to take the car for a service, but we just can't afford it.

Making my to do list for the weekend for this week as well, need to add on to find out if our breakdown cover is UK or EU - think its UK. Also, should probably buy a map book for France and if I order those headlight things that divert the beam online from ebay they'll be about £2 compared to £10 at the port.

Not many items listed on ebay atm (or rather not many with bids, think I have 11 up but only 2 will sell), I'm going to try to get a couple more up tomorrow night (grandad over for tea tonight) on 7 day listings - after that its too late really as we won't have time to post. Actually realistically its too late now, as people might not pay straight away. I think I'm out of ebay until we come back. I did list a couple of bits last night, but they were only free relistings so didn't really count. On a plus point we sold some brand new curtains we bought last year for £40, only bought them for £30 in Next sale. We had 3 pairs and this lady bought a second set at £40 off us as well :D
