Tink - Well done at the gym!! It's MyFitnessPal. I'm Coffeeandkisses on there if you want to add me.
Tete - The big difference for me between the 3gs and the 4 is the screen, it's VAAAIR grainy in comparison. Obviously, when the 3gs came out it was super clear and it isn't like you'll be holding it next to a 4 so it should be fine. I prefer the 3gs shape too tbf. Just get what you fancy, I'm sure you'll love it!
And that hotel is beyond gorgeous, Ruby! Your dress sounds awesome too, can't wait to see it. If we get to see it :A
Not much to report my end! I ordered a couple books this weekend, one being a pretty badass looking vegan cook book that I can't wait to use. And another Jillian DVD. I'm brainwashed! I did a little of the 6 week ab workout yesterday which looks awesome and my Sister said I can have it while she's in America. We did an hour of yoga too but it's just far too calm and collected for me. Plus she kept telling me to relax the space between my eyes, what?! And how?! I'll get there with it!
ETA: Ahh! I'm so slow! Hope you're feeling better Lara, and that's really lovely of your parents Birdie! Horrible about the smoker though, I'd just go have a word with them really!0 -
Of course you'll get to see it Cinny! I'll be posting pictures on the wedding board when I get a chance hehe. Oh and i've added you on myfitnesspal too, hope you don't mind!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Hi everyone, great news on the wedding spends Birdie! Although bad news on the neighbour front. I am feeling your pain about the onset of Autumn today, I like my summer clothes! Need some new boots asap as I have finally realised today that it is much too cold for ballet pumps and no socks - my tootsies are freezing!
I have to admit I haven't sneaked onto the getting ready for winter thread yet but will have to check it out - is it on the OS board? I have started thinking about Christmas presents though, mainly to cheer myself up about the end of the summer as i LOVE Christmas! (Perhaps a little too much)
Have decided to get back on my low carb diet too as it worked wonders last time, miraculously not having sugar withdrawal yet although there is half a bar of fruit and nut dairy milk eyeing me up from my desk drawer, stupid yummy creamy goodness! I will have a look at MyFitnessPal again today as I've had the app for ages but never done anything with itBarclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Of course I don't mind, Ruby!
The more on my friends list the merrier, lovely to add a face to a name too!
I'm so not in the mood for work todaySo far I've processed one job, called a couple subbies and covered my Brothers desk with little drawings and quotes of Booker T. I'm just swaying and singing along to Shamans Harvest.
Shrimpy - I'm with you on the boot front! I have my Uggs, but it feels too early to bring those beasts out so I'm just going to order the classics. Or these, they're called pascal. PASCAL! They have the first ones on Asos though, just waiting for a good discount code to pop up!
Okay, work time. :wall:0 -
Lara - hope you are feeling better now
I could do with a new autumn/winter wardrobe, last year i was in maternity clothes lol. Hoping OH will be feeling generousat my birthday next month.
I also need to look for a dress to wear to a wedding in a month but the pain is it needs to be 'easy access' so i can bf Poppy...tricky!0 -
Ahhh Doc Martens! I really really really wanted a pair of those when I was about 13 (grunge was in) but my mum refused to shell out £80, so she bought me an imitation pair which I bizarrely spray painted silver?! I wore them until they fell apart!
I do rather love Pascal I must say! Although my feet would give anything to snuggle in a pair of Uggs right now...Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Hmmm that's a tough one Wendz, as I'd imagine you'd need something with straps as well since you'll be wearing a nursing bra so no halter necks? Can you go to Debenhams/John Lewis and get a personal shopper to pick something out (think they're free?). Think you've found a niche in the market here, glam clothes for BF mums!
Good luck low carbing Shrimpy, get some low carb chocolate or some 70% stuff if you do have a crazing for sugar and have a tiny nibble to satisfy the need for the choccy taste!Have you got Neris and India's cookbook? It's brilliant!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
oooh cute Cinny! I'm sure a 20% will come around soon on asos, they always seem to send them out! If I see any I'll let you know!
I've just joined MFP too (i have a coffee name too!) and I've added you ruby - hope that's ok! Your relationship is jst like what we've had, we were super close for a little while and ever since we're miles and miles away!!
Well done for running Tete! I'm so amazaed at what you've achieved in the last year or so. It's totally inspiring!!
Have fun swimming with Poppy!!0 -
Wendz how about a skirt and top combo? might be a bit easier than a dress but still look nice?0
