Sorry, I took so long debating that I missed the last two posts!

Excellent news on the trip Zig! Wow not long to wait at all! And as for your ex, how out of order! Sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it to me (hope you don't mind me saying that when I don't know you or him) - Well done you!

Zig, so exciting that you're going in November! Can't believe your ex - sleaze! Still, it sounds like you are looking pretty hot, so glad you didn't waste it on him :D

Hope you manage to get some work done, Ruby, it's vile weather here too. I've put boots on today. Boots! It's only the first week of September :( (btw Archers, I'm going to Mallorca, so hopefully I'll escape to some sun :))

Shrimpy, that sounds like good money progress - paying something off is very satisfying. I've got a few bits to add to my sig too - £7 from amazon and £45 from taking my little money bags to the bank. It's not going to make me rich, but still...

Poolie, will check out Mrs P's website later - sounds like business is going well!

Mrs P's website loks good, shame she doesn't have shoes for 2 left feet! ;)

Well done on finally getting to payout Wendz! Are you treating yourself?

Hope the dissertation is going well Ruby :)

How exciting about Oz Zig! :j Think you're doing the right thing going sooner rather than later! Can't believe the cheek of your ex! Glad you took the high ground on that one, does he really want to start cheating on his new squeeze with his ex so soon in the relationship?! God, he needs a slap round the chops!

Shrimpy all money talk makes my head spin too, but it sounds like you're doing pretty well, sometimes you need the big mind boost even though its not actually saving you anything!

All the challenge updates are making me feel guilty that I've not even got off the starting blocks! Will definitely start when I get back from my jollies! I've just found out that the awful, patronising, odious little man on our team is leaving and his last day is whilst I'm off so that's fabby news and will make coming back to work a lot easier! :j

Is it bad that I'm expecting my chocolate Guinness cupcakes for OH's party to go so wrong that I've asked my friend to make a back-up chocolate cake?! I wish I knew why my baking always goes wrong! :o

Course I don't mind! That's definitely what it sounds like, although he did just text me saying he's glad we didn't kiss cuz it would be 'wrong'.

Haha! I did feel good knowing that I looked good and that I'm no longer available to him! :p

I nearly put on boots yesterday but stuck with sandals and regretted it! Rubbish weather. Absolutely chucking it down here at the mo. Ooh I meant to ask, Archers, where did you go in Bristol? It's local to me :)

I know! Idiot. I was pleased though that he's now got someone else to kiss etc yet he still wanted me.. :D

Yay to the horrible guy leaving! And I'm sure your cakes will be great! If I was at all worried though I'd probably do a back up cake too.. Anyway! It's the thought that counts! :p

There's no turning back now - my flights are booked! I leave on the 28th November! I'm so scared and excited - I feel a bit sick haha! :j

You are doing good with challenge Shrimpy!

Poolie - glad business is going well for your OH.

Depressing about wearing boots already Poddle. Sounds like you are ticking along nicely with challenge too.

Sadly not treating myself Birdie, going towards my friends wedding present. Yay for the man leaving, will make it a nicer working environment.Hope the cake will go ok, at least you have a back up if it doesn't ;).

Hopefully will be off to shops soon, Poppy seems to be having a mega nap.

LOL Shrimpy, can't really say I'm a fan at all, he's a condescending kn0bhead! :p No-one likes him, which is probably why he's leaving. :o

Oooooh how freaking exciting Zig! You will keep in touch won't you?! :j

Yay Zig! And you fly out on my birthday :) How exciting! Make sure you post some photos when you're over there to make us all green with envy :D

Poddle/Zig - I have ordered some fur lined boots (well, Momma Shrimp has :o) and I can't wait to get my feet in them, they were soooo cold yesterday without socks on!

Wendz - I have been slacking at the debt busting for a very long time, I originally hoped to be debt free by the end of last year but lost my way a little :( this thread is the only thing that has got me back on track which is why I seem to be doing well, its because I've had half a year of being utterly rubbish! But thank you :) Hope Poppy enjoys her nap and you get to shop!

Birdie - you have a way with words! I'm sure some people deliberatly try to be unlikeable though, hurrah for him leaving! And good luck with the cakes!
