Hey everyone, just trying to catch up with everything now.
Cinny have you heard about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation that's coming out soon? I really want to try it but I have to keep telling myself I have a routine that I like now and I don't need to search any more hehe. I have so much makeup, but I'm trying to get it down. Started selling bits and pieces on ebay and it's gong well!
Wendz, you're so organised, I don't want to think about Christmas yet. Think I might get a bit crafty and make things for people, just need to find the time to do it!
Bit excited over here actually...think we may have finally decided on a venue for the wedding *fingers crossed*. We've found a really nice hotel for the reception and we just need to decide on if we want the actual ceremony there or somewhere else and a date! But it's one step closer!
Hope you all have a great weekend, I'm off to fantasise about my wedding *eeeekkk*Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Ooooh how exciting Ruby! What kind of date are you thinking? And can we have a DOTD?!
Very sensible to spread the cost out Wendz, I always wish I'm more organised once we're in December and I'm panic buying loads for more money than I should be paying! Think I'll start in earnest once we get back (and with any luck might have bought some little bits already) and I need to crack on making my homemade pressies!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Aw cinny I don't like people who change their personalities so much and so quickly! It sounds like you are very tolerant!
I've had a big make up clear out, I don't really know how to wear some make up things but I just have a boring standard routine and I stick to it. I'd like to get more adventurous but It can be expensive buying new things! I've been wandering around lots of make up shops recently to try and treat myself to something but I can never pick anything
Can't believe people are getting Christmas things ready already! It's very organised of you and probably a really good idea! I am much more of a leave it till the last minute kind of person for that kind of thing because I can't keep presents, I get so excited about giving them to people and then I have to buy another set of presents!!0 -
LOL I do that too Tink! Especially when it comes to OH, he gets so many presents throughout the year as I buy them to put away for his birthday or Christmas then decide to treat him at random... if I'd been sensible and actually held on to his pressies I'd have at least 2 things to give him for his birthday!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Ruby - exciting about the wedding venue!
Haha Tink, think i just have too much time on my hands , am also very excited about christmas with a little one (not that she will know whats going on).0 -
It does look interesting, Ruby! I'm tempted to buy it when my current healthy mix has gone. But I'm thinking like you too, why test my money on something that could be horrible when I know what I like? I did that with their bio flex one, or whatever it was called. I hated that!
Super exciting about the venue though! That must feel like a massive thing ticked off the list.
I'm trying not to think too much about Christmas. You all know how I get, it'll be done by next week! Stack cups is a great first Christmas gift though, I still remember mine actually. I loved them!
We do roughly know what we want to get everyone so I think we're going to just have a big 'go buy everything we want' day in November. We have around £30 on my Boots card so looks like some people are getting gift sets! Will be nice to properly have OH's input this year. He even ordered my Dad a 50th Birthday present this morning, no prompting at all  Shocked doesn't even cover it.
I'm just the same though Tink & Birdie. Me and my Sister buy each other lead up presents we're so bad at keeping them from each other. We used to stay up Christmas Eve night when we got back from our Grandparents' just to exchange a gift at 00:01, I really missed that last yearI'm at the in-laws this year though, I'm insanely excited already but it'll be weird not to see my family! But OH did it last year, and he's still alive.. ish!

It definitely is a big thing off the list. Just need to break the news to OH's family that we're getting married abroad. Not too sure how well that's going to go down but oh well!
Christmas will be interesting this year, have no idea what's happening. If I get this new job i've got an assessment for in a couple of weeks, then I will be staying with OH and we'll be having our own little Christmas. He lives in a different county for work and will have to work Christmas Eve and Boxing Day this year and won't be able to come home for Christmas Day. I don't want him being on his own but it will be the first year I haven't been at my parents on Christmas DayOn the other hand, if I don't get this new job, I'll be working Christmas day again probably and then it won't really feel like Christmas (stupid NHS)

It is your wedding so they will just have to deal with it!
That is rubbish about work, I am sure you will have a nice time however it works out. You could always celebrate another day.
I am 25p away from redeeming on OP and no surveys are coming up grr.
Just worked out why our final electricity bill from old company is too high , the cheeky people have decided to change the prices after we have paid all previous bills! Never go with spark energy everyone, awful company.0 -
Hugs Flower, worrying just shows how much you care. This little baby is going to be so loved
We all have most triumphant days as daughters, sisters, mothers, wives or girlfriends where everything is wonderful. Sometimes we have down days too, which we share with our partners, friends and parents. You're going to do great!!
This is so true Flower! Sending big (but not squishing the baby) hugs. Sounds like time with your parents was just what you needed. I know whenever I feel like the world's dropping in a me a hug from my Mum or Dad makes everything feel a lot better. If you ever want to talk feel free to send me a PM.
Thank you girliesactually bought a tear to my eyes! (not that it takes much now a days
).
Its nice to know that people dont just think I am being stupid.
Having a nice relaxing day today and not going to stress about anything!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Our letting agents for our new house really tried to push us into going with them, she more or less implied we had no choice! So glad you mentioned that Wendz, thanks! Now I definitely won't use them! We fixed with N Power not long before deciding to move so am really hoping they will let us move the deal over. Hope your last OP survey(s) pop up soon!
Also Flower - obviously I don't know you nearly as well as the others on here but I would like to echo what others have said - even to me its so obvious that your little one is a very lucky bean who is already very much loved, I'm glad to hear you are feeling a little better now and hope you have a super relaxing day xBarclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
