Do you really find glasses sexy time problem?! We just kind of chuck ours on the floor and well er, get on with it :rotfl:

Haha, I was thinking the same thing!!

I know what you mean about getting all cosied up for winter. I feel like I have nothing to wear though, arrgh. I am a pear shape so skinny jeans don't look great, am so jealous of that look... especially with the boots over. We have spent all our money on wedding and honeymoon so no chance of any spends until October at the earliest, and even then will have to start getting some Christmas pressies. Things seem loads more expensive in the shops now than just a few years ago. Will have to start early. My winter coat has a bit hole in it so at least will *have* to get a new one out of the joint account money :D

I have been eating like a crazy person since the wedding, reckon I have just about had my fill and ready to get back on the exercise wagon. I am getting to the age where I can no longer go without makeup and look half-decent. Cinny, it's a shame you're not closer - I need lessons!

Poddle - the villa looks great, are you getting really excited??

I've decided I'm using my spring coat for winter, I always layer up anyways so I should be nice and toasty! Looks like you'll have plenty of lovely choices for a winter coat though looking at some label and shop previews.

If anyone wants any tough motivation for exercise just keep this image of Jillian in your noodle. I wish she was that badass on the Shred dvd! I also have a pretty boss link to where you kind find some of the best work out videos online for free if anyone wants that to get started with.

What kind of make up do you want to go for, Lara? I pretty much do the "pin up" look day in day out - fresh dewy skin, powder peach/pink blush with thick winged liner and fat lashes. I just amp it up with a brown smoky eyeshadow and red lipstick when we're going out. I can try and match some of my favourite tutorials for tips and tricks to what look you're going for if you want.

Off to my Grandad's today to help him do some weeding, want to do the shred before I go. Will have to do the Christmas Cakes tomorrow, my Gramps is a little more important than a cake!

    Have a good day everyone!

I can't get away with skinny jeans either Lara, stoopid hips ruin the look!

I had a strange dream last night, I met CMD's new baby! It was a little boy with white blonde hair, I had a little cuddle and a dance with him whilst CMD was downstairs with Cinny! Very odd! How weird would it be if CMD had a boy now?! I'd be like a mega psychic! ;)

I go away this month! :j Having a panic now though as OH's birthday is next Friday and I haven't got him his present yet and I've got no money!

Hi guys! Just about properly caught up because I've been away for a little while sorry! sounds like loads has been going on an I hope that dinah and nim are ok in new York! I'm very jealous that they have been away twice in such a short time! Don't really know how they do it money wise and taking time off wise but they are very lucky!

Birdie I don't think having no money matters for OHs birthday.. It shouldnt anyway especially because you're going on such a big trip so soon!! There are lots of cheap/free things which you can do...? It's my boys birthday in a month and while I'm usually super organised I haven't thought of anything to get him yet!

Cinny - I'm in awe of your determination! I'm going to start bring healthy etc once I move house to london next week because with the new job etc everything will change! Might have to join the food diary thing? Also I'm a little pear shaper but I live in skinny jeans and boots in winter, am I making a massive mistake??

I'll repost when I'm on my laptop and not just my phone - Lara have u got the iphone working yet? Im doing a bit of an overhaul on
Mine soon addi more music etc i think, Has anyone on here got any good app recommendations?

Hey Cinny, I like a really 'fresh faced' look too. I don't really know how to put on makeup at all. I'd love to learn how to do an eyeliner flick, that would be awesome.

Oooo exciting Birdie, you've been looking forward to this holiday for such a long time. Cinny, when do you go away?

Tink - I'm a bit of a newbie on the iPhone, I don't have too many cool apps yet :)

Lol at the dream Birdie!!! It could very well be another boy as OH's parents have 2 sons and 3 grandsons, no girls in there at all, so the males are very dominant on that side. And the white blonde hair is legitimate too. Max's hair is very blonde! Only time will tell!

I am hopefully going to have a baby this month! Unless baby goes over again. Max was due 19th Feb and I had him 2nd March and it was torture when it went over onto the next month. I hope I have this baby in Sept rather than Oct!

Can you bake something nice for your OH and then buy him something on your honeymoon. Does he need anything technical like an iPod - they are so much cheaper in the US!

Morning all - Cinny I love the relationship you have with your Gramps. I hope Max has the same type with my Dad. Max is football mad and so is my Dad so I know he can't wait to kick ball with him next Spring/Summer when he is old enough!

Oooh CMD baby due this month. yay. I have got 8 days left in work. Can't wait til I finish although technically I still have 2 more months to go as baby is due 1st November which rolls it over to a new month. :(

    Morning everyone!

Havent been around for a week or so, been very stressed out with money situation and starting to get very scared now that its only 5 weeks til my due date - not at all sure that I am ready for this!
Had a very tearful week really so took myself off to stay with my parents for a few days to get myself together.

Hope everyone is ok, have had a quick skim read of whats been going on.

Hope NIM and Dinah are ok!

Flower - it is totally normal to feel overwhelmed by becoming a new parent. I had lots of emotional tearful days before Max and am having them this time around as well.

Starnac- did you go overdue the last time?

OH isn't really interested in little (i.e. affordable!) gadgets, the 'only' things he wants are a new laptop (I may have dropped ours one too many times so that the lid won't close properly now :o), 7.1 surround sound and a 3D TV! We've got the Friday off work and I'm not really sure what to do with him, will try to get the 40% off Odeon voucher so we can watch a movie without it costing too much and if I offer to cook something nice I can buy food with the joint account money! ;) I wish he hadn't bought me so much for my birthday, kind of puts the pressure on me to do the same, even though I stressed that I didn't want a lot! We're having a party on the Saturday so I'll tell him that my party planning skillz are his present! :)

Tink, if you feel and look good in your skinnies don't worry about it! I can't wear them as they're usually too low riding for me so I get massive disgusting overhang and look all lumpy as long jumpers/tops stick to my hips too. I don't get on with fashion at all really. :o

I've got my fingers crossed for a September baby CMD! I have a feeling he'll come early! (It's a boy in my mind now until proven otherwise! ;))

ETA: Flower, sorry to hear you're feeling overwhelmed, I'm sure that once your baby arrives you'll find everything is perfect! Hope the time at your parents made you feel better :)
