AND you can keep track of how much water you drink every day which is brilliant as I'm trying to up my intake. I'm convinced I'll be able to run further if I'm not dehydrated!

Shortbread sounds lovely CMD, and you have the perfect excuse to eat twice as much!

    I've added you Tete!

I'm always over gushing about MFP. I really do love it! I wouldn't worry about them not having the right foods Birdie, they really do have just about everything on there. If you have an app phone you can download theirs and it has a little barcode scanner on it which I use just about constantly! You can also edit the diary settings so you can have it tracking whatever you want in your food I have the standard carbs, fat and protein but I'm also tracking sodium on there. Another thing I love is once you've completed your diary it says 'if every day were like today you'd weigh XXXlb in 5 weeks' that's a good motivator! It also tells you off if you've eaten too few calories pre exercise. Once I was under 1200 by 1 calorie and made myself eat a pumpkin seed to stop the guilt!

You are doing really well with your running Tete, and all the walks you did too! I'd be very proud of myself if I were you.

Bless Max! I used to be obsessed with apples when I was his age (or so my Mum tells me) and my sister loved bananas.

Oh my god, if ever there was a reason to get a snazzy smart phone!!

Ooooh I'm having a look to see if I can get that app, sounds brill! Not holding out much hope though, stupid Nokia.... The site sounds really good too, will check it out as soon as I get home! :) LOL at having to eat a pumpkin seed!

It's nice to hear that Max is into his fruit rather than cheese straws like so many little'uns I see CMD! :)

Well done for signing up to the 10k Tete! SuperLucy strikes again! :j
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Too right, I just looked at your sig and you were missing an August challenge, Tete ;)

Birdie, I totally empathise about the motivation - I would love a bit of Cinny's (and some of her luck while I'm at it!) as I still exercise in waves. And it's frustrating as if I'd stuck to something 6 months ago, I'd probably be in pretty good shape by now!

As it is I'm nowhere near bikini ready for my hols - but finally booked a week in Majorca :D So it's just as well I found a little casita with a private pool in the mountains... It's a little bit more expensive than I'd planned - I was thinking cheap package for £250pp - but about a million times nicer and we had just about enough in our holiday account. I'm SO proud that we paid for it with real money - probably my first credit card free holiday in a decade :o

Birdie, well done for doing the same! Feels goooooood, right? Hope your mum boosts your honeymoon spends too.

CMD, you just enjoy that millionaire shortbread! You must get all the exercise you need running after Max (and hubby :p) - I don't know how you do it at 8 months pregnant!

Lol at Wendz's Wii noticing she'd dropped a couple of stone - hope your little 'weightloss' behaves for your mum and gets some more sleep in soon :)

That's one of my things Poddle, I'm sick of looking back and thinking 'if I'd just stuck it' so I'm not letting myself do it anymore! Just try and take it a day at a time 'Today I'll drink more water, do 20 minutes of exercise and make healthy choices' worry about tomorrow when you wake up in the morning and focus more on how your body's changing infront of you rather than the scales. Or None-Scale-Victories :D Like today, I wore a pair of jeans comfortably that didn't do up 3 weeks ago - that wouldn't register on the scales 'You've lost 1.2lb and oh, you looked good in those jeans yesterday!'

The holiday sounds good though, any links?! :D Well done on paying for it with cash though, I can imagine how good it must feel!

Really happy today, we're getting booked in for our windows :j We had a quote from another company that was at first £1,200 cheaper, then my Dad got another £100 off. So it's £2,600 with VAT for all our new windows. Should be done within the next few weeks too. That with flushing the central system before we get new radiators and we'll be boiling this winter :D

I'm really loving the idea of being able to see without glasses; no more wearing 3D specs on top of my own in the cinema and getting a sore nose, no more splashing about blind in the swimming pool and losing OH when he swims out of my line of semi-decent vision, no worrying about contacts popping out on rollercoasters (actually happened once!), ahh, it'll be amazing!

I can't recommend it enough! Honestly has changed my life. It's so nice to be able to go swimming without worrying about contact lenses. And this is gonna sound really weird, but it makes such a difference.. ahem, in the bedroom.. cuz stopping to take your glasses off kills the mood somewhat I feel! :D

I'm not that blind TBH, -1.25 & -2.25 which is fairly mild so I don't think it'll be that expensive, saying that I'm not having the cheapest procedure where they scrape the top layer of your eye rather than slice it (IYKWIM) as the recovery for that is horrendous according to 2 people I know who've had that done, they were pretty much blind for over a week afterwards and I just couldn't cope with that!

I was around -3.5 and -5 and I went for the most expensive cuz I've got astigmatism and needed it, plus I thought I don't wanna scrimp on my eyes! And I had the slicing procedure, cuz of the quicker heal time :) I went with Ultralase and they have been absolutely brilliant. Their aftercare is so good - they are so thorough.

I quoted other people - where have they gone?! :/

CMD that is such good news that the baby is in position! I echo Birdie (?) that you are like superwoman doing so much at the mo! My baby bro loves kiwi fruit! So good that they like fruit :)

Cinny you're just Miss Inspiration at the mo! Talking of NSVictories, I popped into where I work earlier and the security guard properly looked me up and down and said "you're looking good" and told me "you look hot with straight hair". I was proper chuffed haha. :D

Poddle I'm so pleased that you're going on a lovely holiday that you've paid for with cash! What a great feeling!

Tete I'll add you on MFP :)

ETA: Cinny I'm glad you'll be warm for winter! Nothing worse than a cold house. I'm in a cottage at a moment and it's like a freakin' cave, and it isn't even properly cold yet!
