Hey everyone. We don't actually fly till the morning, so not impacted by Irene hopefully. A lot of flights have been cancelled and are being bumped onto ours, going to try to get down there early so we can still get seats together.

Finally hve our itinerary sorted, its all hand written so I can't post it. Popping out for dinner shortly, then coming back to book a few restaurant week meals.

Hope you all have a good week while we're gone, see you a week on Tuesday x

Really hope your flight goes. Have a lovely anniversary while you are over there xxx

Just saw the photos of the floods in New York, natural disasters are awful :( Have a good time though Dinah, it does look like the Yanks are taking it in their stride anyway :D

I'll do a proper post soon when I've had time to fully catch up. If anyone joins Myfitnesspal let me know and I'll PM you my link. I've lost 4lb already, along with plenty of toning. Even OH said he's noticed a difference today, and I could dye my hair purple and prance around the living room like a unicorn and he wouldn't notice. So that was nice :D

The holiday sounds like it was just what you needed Tete, and you too Archers. Minus the bike troubles!

And no more spends with the money as such. I took my Sister out for dinner and a movie on Thursday (a Sister date! We saw Glee 3D :j) and I've designed another couple tattoos but they coincide with certain weight loss goals so there goes some future pennies. I can talk designs if anyone's interested but I won't bore you straight off! Oh, and we're hopefully getting our kitchen sorted mid September. Think that's it :D

It actually worries me a little when it's total silence on here for a day :rotfl: But then it was a Bank Hol, I hope everyone had a good day! OH was working (@ normal rate + £10ph ) so I just lazed a little, did some housework and finally got stuck into 30DS Level 2. I'm starting to like Jillian a lot more though, which is nice :D I managed most of the moves fine, bar two. It's a lot easier than Level 1 to get into that's for sure!

Also, I think it was Wendz who asked what Zumba was like when got the wii game? (weeks and weeks ago!) It's actually a lot of fun, I've gone from stumbling over my feet and landing on my tush (I really am that bad a dancer) to doing the full 45 minute routines without a hitch. Although, as a white girl, my booty popping and hip shaking is no doubt painful to watch. It pulls my abs and legs the most, but I mix it up with shredding or tone it up circuits everyday so it might just be a big mix?

Hope you can get yourself motivated Lara, just think of the weight off it'll be handing you first bit in and then to not have it on your mind when you pootle off on a gorgeous holiday. It'll be worth every minute spent on it, even if those minutes are hugely broken up with long tea breaks/full days off :D You'll be totally fine, I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress it too much.

Thanks for letting me know about Zumba Cinny. Does sound quite good! I got on the wii fit last night, first time since being pregnant and told me i'd lost 2 stone 3 lbs haha ,it was very impressed. Don't think it realised a little person had dissapeared from me.

Sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend Cinny.

Mine was pretty boring,OH has been working nights and Poppy has been having some of her worst nights yet so not been feeling very energetic.

Off to stay with my mum for a couple of days this morning so at least someone else can hold Poppy while i collapse in a heap lol.

    Hi Cinny!

Hope you have a lovely time at your Mums Wendz!

Just put Max down for a nap as he was so cranky. It's a bit earlier than usual but he needed one! I went to the midewife yesterday and the baby is head down so no need for a planned section. Yay :)

    Hello!

Wii Zumba does sound good, I tried a demo on the Kinect and it was really hard, I got so lost and was worn out by the end of the song! Maybe I just need more practice! I was going to get Dance Central but I got it on my Love Film trial and it's not that good, the songs are all too cool for me, all dance and R&B, not my style at all! Going to get Just Dance 3 when it's released in October and use that as my dancey workout! :)

The raft race was a bit of a washout on Saturday, OH's team was in the first race and they were against the army engineers, who turned up with a really streamlined raft and they were all wearing wetsuits, OH hadn't realised that people took it that seriously (they were wearing Hawaiian shirts and leis!)! At least the raft didn't sink, although it was so sturdy it barely moved either! Needless to say, they did not win and we left after a few hours as the heavens opened so no idea what the outcome of the day was!

Still feeling a little rough today after the cocktail party on Sunday, I drank more than I'd wanted/planned to and I'm paying for it! I'm really not a fan of these 2 day hangovers... :(

Archers, sounds like your holiday was lovely despite the bike issues, we just don't seem to have much luck with bikes on this thread!

Glad that Dinah and NIM haven't been impacted by Irene, was getting worried for them! Hope a lovely holiday and anniversary are had! :)

    Was Glee 3D good Cinny?!

Of course!! Was a bit weirdly set out, but it just a bit of fun really. She might have a funny mouth and annoying singing face but Lea can really sing (I thought she was amped up a bit for the show) My Sister was just excited to see Puck in 3D!

I'd have much rather been like your OH even if they didn't get anywhere in the race over the ones taking it too seriously - they're fun suckers! Hope you're feeling better soon though, I can't remember the last time I had a drink. I think it was a glass of rose watching It's Complicated moons ago. I've cut out caffine too, it's like I'm straightedge!

The Zumba was hard to start with for me too. I think I'd get 10 minutes in and then really have to start pushing myself to get it finished. But like t'old Jillian yells at me, when it starts to hurt that's when it counts the most! But then I've become a health junkie out of no where in under a month, it's all about the burn baby :rotfl:

That's great news CMD :) so pleased for you!

Wendz, glad to hear you're going to get some nice sleep at your Mum's. Hope Poppy starts sleeping a bit better v. soon.

Birdie, your OH's raft sounded class. Better to be sturdy than at the bottom of the river!!

Cinny, I listened to the Glee 3D soundtrack, wow lea almost seems better singing live than in the studio. Sounded like Arty needed a bit of help tho!!

You have become a health junkie, what's happened?! And can you send some of it my way?! I'm still going to the gym but finding it pretty hard going ATM, I think it's a mix of not being motivated enough and not having anything decent to watch on my phone to distract me! I need to download a new series to keep me entertained on the treadmill and bike! I'm going to have to start the 30DS again, only a few weeks 'till we go away and I'm nowhere near being bikini ready, it's totally crept up on me! Being naughty tonight though as going to Pizza Express with my friend. Will try to be good and have one of the lighter pizzas!

Is it Zig who's had laser eye surgery? We've decided when we get back from honeymoon to get me booked in to get laser-vision so I'm after recomendations. I'm starting to think that OH does not like my specs as he's realllllly into the idea of me getting it done! Or maybe he's just bored of hearing me moan about being blind all the time! ;)
