    Hola Amigas!

Poddle, you know you can't tell us about a holiday without linking it, wanna see where you're off to! :) I spoke to my Mum about the spends last week and she said she was going to get the card sorted out this week if the exchange rate was good enough, another $500 in the spendy pot, can I hear a whoop whoop?! :j Going to split it so we've got $150 each guilt free spends on whatever we want (bags and shoes for me, Harry Potter crap for OH!) and $200 for a couple of meals or a dinner show. Oooh I'm having a little excited wriggle now! :D

Zig, very good point about the specs in the bedroom, it is a mood killer! ;) Pretty much any time I want to go in for a kiss and a cuddle with OH I have to stop, take of my glasses, put them somewhere safe, it's just not sexy! How much did you pay in total if you don't mind me asking? The personal health care cover we've just taken out actually covers some of the cost of laser eye surgery so at least I'll get a little bit back if I do go for it!

Great news about the windows Cinny, you'll be so toasty warm this winter! I was having a read of the winter thread on OS and liked the idea of lining curtains with fleece for extra warmth, might give that a go as our bedrooms are freezing in winter! Would it be weird if I lined all of the walls with fleece too?! ;)

I didn't get onto MFP last night, I didn't have long at home before I had to go out again so I used the time to do the Shred instead! :) Was knackered! We didn't go to Pizza Express, but an all you can eat Chinese instead. Was yummy but so naughty! I did try to be better than normal though, not too much battered badness and I had a little bit of boiled rice instead of fried. I feel grebby now though, like a big fat bloater full of grease... which is what I am!

    Whoop Whoop!! :j

Tut tut, chinese food is bad!! OH has had it a few times since I started all this and when I was dishing it out for him all the grease just made me feel gross! Like last night when I made the chilli, everyone else loaded their plates with nachos, chips and cheese and I'm just sat there with a mound of salad and some rice. Was friggen delish though.

Do you really find glasses sexy time problem?! We just kind of chuck ours on the floor and well er, get on with it :rotfl: But then after the awkward first time fumbles, giggle fits and my general lack of grace we've had to learn to not let things ruin the moment!

Ahh, I love that prepping for Winter thread (I'm actually reading it now! :rotfl:) We're pretty much sorted, we have a laundry basket in the spare room filled with all our winter things and then we've got bags of snow grit in the shed. We just need to get OH a new winter coat, me new winter boots and a snow shovel. Our little stockpile needs working back up again too that we have £50 to one side for when we're ready to do a big online order for mainly dry store thingies. It's getting way cooler though, I'm having to wear my dressing gown in the mornings already. Feels like Autumn today! Making our Christmas cakes over the next few days for Christmas presents, so my house is going to smell lovely :D

In my defense I was outnumbered on the Chinese front, it was 2 against 1 and I didn't dare argue with 2 hungry girls with a craving for MSG! I do feel terrible now though so I am being punished. :( Got to learn the hard way and all that. :)

Mmmm I love the smell of all things Christmas. We were actually talking about what we're going to cook for Christmas dinner on Monday night; even though OH's parents have moved to a bigger place now and can fit us all in this year they've declared that we're to host Christmas from now on as we make the best dinner, quite a compliment but that's a big load to bear! I'm feeling all crafty for Christmas this year so might make a cake despite having no idea what I'm doing!

Ah you have to break out every now and again. Says the big cow munching on a doughnut and about to attack the millionaire shortbread again! We went to Pizza Express for tea last night and Max lasted 1 our before he started to act up. He was really good!

I love love love Christmas. We will be at my parents this year and my Mam makes the best Xmas dinner ever. Can't wait for it!

Is it wrong that I'm quite looking forward to winter? We made some jam at the weekend and I've just ordered a giant preserving pan to do make some other stuff.

Great that you're getting your windows done Cinny (and wise to do it while Dinah's away :rotfl: ) you'll be nice and toasty!

We're getting a handrail made for the steps down to our front door (by a local blacksmith we know - MSE!) as it's ridiculously dangerous when they're covered with wet leaves or ice. It's a miracle nobody's fallen down them before now, and we say we should do it every year!

Whoop Birdie! That's excellent news, you're going to have a brilliant time!

Here's a linkita to our holiday home - I did a little bit of negotiating and saved a couple of hundred euros, plus saving £30 by only taking hand luggage (eek!) so I think Martin would be proud :)

Lol at your glasses getting in the way of "sexy time"! I'd love laser eye surgery, but just don't think I could go through with it. Squeamish!

Wow wow - I love it! We stayed in Port de Soller 2 years ago and loved it. It was so non-tacky. We took the train from Palma that goes down through the vineyeards etc. It was beautiful.

Am so jealous Poddle - I defo want to go back there!

Thanks CMD :) A friend at work recommended it - I'd never thought a villa would be affordable at all, I think I thought they were all about £1000 a week. It would be great to do with some friends - they had some amazing places with 4/5 bedrooms and it would work out about 250 euros pp for a week.

So nice that you'll be back home for Christmas too! First one with 2 babies!

Never get between a hungry girl and her cravings! Meals out are so hard, I always shove my cheat day around so they sit together. I also hate to be the 'oh, I can't eat that' girl.

Someone was saying the other day how they can't wait for that couple weeks between Autumn and Winter that's totally magic. When the weather's crisp, but damp, and there's that smell in the air. You can snuggle up in the evenings with a big mug of hot chocolate and all the good stuff starts coming on the telly again. I can't wait either! Big jumpers over skinny jeans and big boots too. Bring it!

Couldn't you stay over at their house Christmas Eve and just use their kitchen?? That's what one of my friends did when her family decided she made the better Christmas meal!

As far as I can remember you're a skinny muffin, CMD! Eat all the cr*p you want, plus all what I've cut out so the bakerys and sweet shops don't lose out from my custom going :D

That place looks gorgeous Poddle! You'll have an amazing time, looks so lush with the private pool :D

Oooh the casita looks lovely Poddle! You'll have a fab time! :D I'll have to have a look at that site in more detail later, my friend wants to go away for her Hen next June and there'll be about 12 of us so I'm thinking that a villa is the way forward!

I'm quite looking forward to the time after we get back from our holibobs, we'll have had plenty of sun so won't be complaining about not seeing it this year and I always quite like it when the nights start drawing in and there's nothing to do but get all snuggly underneath my slanket.

TBH Cinny I'd rather just do Christmas day at ours, would be even more stressful cooking in someone else's kitchen and I know that MIL would be hovering around all day trying to help but just getting in my way! I'm just worried that my side will take the hump that we don't cook for them so we'll end up cooking 2 Christmas dinners!

Hi everyone, so quiet on here over the weekend then yesterday while I'm moving house everyone starts filling pages again :D

I know someone who had laser eye surgery Birdie (the slicing one) and he said it was the best thing he ever did too. Having said that, I really love OH in his glasses so hope he never gets it done!

I used to use myfitnesspal just to keep track of my calories but had no idea it did such swanky things! I will happily add you/befriend you/whatever they call it if I can get to grips with it! I only had it on my phone but never knew you can scan barcodes - exciting! Cinny your new way of keeping healthy sounds great, I'm hoping now we have moved and things are more settled I might be able to get back into the groove as I used to eat really well without dieting or sacrificing, I just found it enjoyable. Now I'm a piggy wig!

Hope Dinah and NIM got off ok
