Starnac- did you go overdue the last time?
I have tearful days too. Last time DH used to worry whenever I burst into tears now he just sits there patiently going "there, there it's okay" while I soak his t shirt with tears for no reason
Yes I was 10 days over with DD. Have joked that this one needs to come out 10 days early to even it outDH is convinced that it'll be an October baby not a November one though

Think OH was quite worried to be honest. With my history of depression he knows when I am just having a bad day and when I really have had enough. He rang my parents because he didnt like leaving me in the house crying by myself while he was at work.
Thinking about it now I feel really bad because I can see he was very worried!
Met up with some friends that I havent seen for a while anyway and did lots of nice girly things with my mum, so feeling a lot more positive now.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
flower I used to pack my bags and go spend the weekend with my parents too and they used to live 4 hours away. It's normal so try not to worry about itGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Glad you are feeling better. Try not to stress too much about money (easier said than done I know). Babies really don't need much and it is really only nappies and formula (and not even that if you are BF'ing) that you need to buy in the eary days. It sounds like you have everything else.
I was 11 days over Starnac. Am predicting 4 days over this time, which takes me to the 26th Sept!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Just an idea flower but when I buy for newborns I always buy a pack of nappies, wipes etc cos I know how much they are appreciated by the parents. Maybe you could suggest the same to your parents/family to ease the cost on you a little bit.
11 days CMD poor you. I hated being overdue. This one is being served an eviction notice!!!!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Great idea Starnac. My sister said one of her favourite presents was a hamper full of nappies and wipes etc. It saved her a fortune. Another thing I am doing with my weekly shop is buying some newborn nappies and wipes so that there isn't a huge expense at the beginning.

i'm doing the same. you don't notice a couple of £ every week but you would notice it if you bought it all in one go.
No hospital bag yet. Suppose I should really but it's not something I want to think about
To be honest I just want to get next week at work over and done with so I can get everything done.
Are you ready??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
