It is the small !!!!! test on the fingers that I cannot stand. It hurts too much. The main needle going into the vein I don't mind at all. Happily watch it and the blood disappear off the end of the table.

Gives me a chance to have a 10/15 minute lie down.

Have noticed they have changed it from being every 12 weeks to every 16 weeks between visits.

Ohh i love the icandy pushchair CMD, saw a lady with twins the other day with a similar one.

Like yours too Flower, really classic looking.

I have a silvercross 3d, i do like it but it is a bit big and bulky so think i would go for something a bit more lightweight next time. Also Poppy didn't like the pram bit as she was lying down so spent most her time in the carseat in it but she is now in the pushchair bit in it anyway so all good.

Honeymoon sounds good Lara! Doesn't have to be somewhere exotic, you will have an amazing time i'm sure.

Was worried OH was going to have weekend cancelled again but they just asked him to do overtimeand he turned down. Is his sisters 18th tomorrow and she is getting a pandora bracelet so we bought her a charm this morning and some pink champagne.

Oh I feel bad, I haven't given blood in ages! I don't really mind it when I do though, a sick part of me enjoys getting the bruise, I like having a war wound! I'm quite upset when I get a gentle nurse who leaves the tiniest little mark! I know I'm odd! :o

Your hotel looks lovely Cinny, when do you go? :)

Whilst I was at lunch someone's come in and stuck our business buzz-words on the pillars on the wall behind me. Can't see all of them but I can see Standards, Pace and Excellence... oooh, now I feel all inspired to do better! Not! ;)

ETA: Glad your OH doesn't have to work this weekend Wendz! Nice that he'll be there for his sister's birthday, the charm is a nice present, she'll always think of you when she looks at it :)

Which charm did you get her? I have a Pandora bracelet and I love that all the charms remind me of something.

I was terrified of needles until I got pregnant with Max. I kind of had to get over it or go under because you get quite a lot of blood tests when you are pregnant.

Lara - the Spanish honeymoon sounds amazing. Bring honest when we got married in Spain we should have just had our honeymoon there instead of heading off to Borneo. The amount we spent on that honeymoon makes me cringe now.

Lara, I agree - the wine trip in Spain sounds perfect! I love the idea of a wine bus too :D

OH and I have been talking a bit about honeymoons and come to the conclusion that we don't really want to plan a 'holiday of a lifetime' at the same time as a wedding, so we're definitely leaning towards a relaxing week or two in Spain or Italy straight after the wedding. Then we can enjoy planning our dream holiday (a few weeks in South America, please!) in a year or two.

Very swish buggies, girls! Baby things are another world to me!

How are you feeling now CMD? Less stressed I hope, glad you didn't let those ignorant posts get to you :)

Love how MSE keeps censoring pricks, ha ha!

I wish we had done that with regards our honeymoon. I think it is a great idea.

Feeling way less stressed. OH has really gotten his act together and is dealing with all the stressful paperwork/phonecalls and I am finished work so all good. I don't think I realised how stressed work made me feel. They really did expect full-time hours out of a part-time post.

I think that your honeymoon plans are very sensible Poddle! I don't really like how your 'holiday of a lifetime' is supposed to come straight after the most expensive party you'll ever throw, all that added expense in such a short space of time! I understand why people have blow-out honeymoons but I don't like that people feel kind of pressured into going to these exotic, super expensive places just so that they can say they went and spent £8k in the process. Save up for a few years and have a Babymoon instead! ;)

Really glad that your OH has been shocked into pulling his weight CMD. It must be lovely to know that you'll never have to go back to that awful job again! :D

    What's a babymoon?

Despite our honeymoon being significantly more expensive, I kind of see that as the relaxing holiday we needed after the wedding to prevent me blowing a gasket, and New York is the holiday I've always wanted to do. I'm going to be a demon when I come back though, will need to start planning or organising the next one to have something to look forward to.

    Yeah - it feels wonderful!

If I had my way I would have gotten married (it was September) had a few extra days in Spain and then gone somewhere for a honeymoon straight after Xmas. I think the way you are doing it, Birdie and Poddle, is perfect
