At least you see your MSE reality, I have a horrible habit of bending reality to meet my whim, especially when it comes to holidays.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's awesome Dinah, good job
Any closer to finding your honeymoon place, Lara? How did the chatter with your OH go?
Just fried my visa. So much so my bank just calledBut the holiday's booked, and the fridgefreezer (which is beaautiful) and sofa are ordered along all the bits we've been hankering after buying since we moved in. The sofa we picked in the end is really sweet, it's this one. OH was laughing at me before he went to work that I was more excited about the cash backs. I'm sorry, but we're getting like £70+ in cashback and that's friggen awesome!

I had a letter from my bank this morning to say 'We noticed you deposited a cheque into your account. You might already have plans for this but if not..' Oh aye, I bet they noticed!
Hey why didnt my bank write to me when I deposited my £11 cheque from music magpie the other day?
Glad to see that you are still being MSE with the cashback though Cinny!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Cinny, plleeeaasee can I see the fridgefrezer which gets called beautiful?! I'm imagining a vintage floral fridge with bunting across the inside shelves!
You must be so chuffed to be getting your home sorted out, and great news on booking the holiday. Did you get the swim up room in the end? They looked lovely. Our bungalow in the Maldives was swim up, but because it was the sea sometimes the sea was about 1m below the balcony, and sometimes around 4m!
Dad is coming next week to finish decorating the lounge, so my grandads snooker buddy will hopefully lay the floor while we're in New York. I think Grandad is going to get him to put the two new windows in the garage at the same time (bought 5 used upvc windows last year for £50 as 3 of them were the right size to replace the guest room window and the two very, very rotten garage ones one of which is even missing the glass in the top pane) which would be good as the garage might stop flooding when it rains.
Looking forward to the weekend, lots to organise for New York and NIM has quite a few MSs to bring in the pennies. I also plan on doing some ebay listings of the extra furniture we have, set to start a few days before we return, as we don't have enough space for all the furniture and it would be nice to be a bit less cluttered. Some of it might go to auction instead so need to photograph it to send it to the auctioneers to see if its worth anything. Other plan for the weekend is to finish sorting NIMs study as all our filing is in chaos up there. If I have any free time I'll do the ironing too. Oh and I should really start to pack I guess. No rest for the wicked.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Your busy busy as usual Dinah! You have made great progress in the challenge
Our savings float in our joint account has been seriously depleted for 1 reason or another this month and I need to pay for a seriously expensive (but stylish) double buggy so I don't think I will be getting too far in the challenge today.
In fact I am going to post up my buggy. A buggy of the day. Ha ha!

I'm sorry CMD, I'm not sure I know how to have an opinion on a buggy. I'm guessing sturdy is a reasonable opinion? I like the colour. The front part looks like the child at the back is really proud and has created a display pod for a newborn? I think I tried too hard to have an opinionDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
