I think it's unregulated and largely tax free. Might be a franchise system though, I hear there are territories.

I think you can stick with the mystery shopping for the moment though.

It took just over a week I think, I'd completely forgotten about it actually. Only 4 months left on Barker & Stonehouse so we can snowball that at that point, should be all gone within a year if we can focus.

Okay I know I'm bad hence posting on here not you moral money dilema CMD but:

Well it's certainly one way to clear the debt :D

Ha ha! By hook or crook I will use any means to get the debt paid off!

Just got the thumbs down from Barclaycard. Ah well - it was to be expected. I need to order a copy of my credit file and see where I go from here.

Sorry about the Barclaycard, is much of yours paying interest at the moment?

    Thanks.

Yes, all of them except the Santander and that is up in December. My Virgin card is paid off though and usually they send me an offer a few weeks after. It will probably be for only 6-9 months but I can transfer about £7k onto it.

We are hoping when OH moves into our old flat we can pay off £1k a month until my maternity runs out.

Aww what a shame about the Barclaycard CMD, it will be good if you do get an offer of 0% from Virgin, even if it is short term, it still makes a big difference. :) The repayment plans are sounding good too, £1k a month is very impressive!
