Our bungalow in the Maldives was swim up, but because it was the sea sometimes the sea was about 1m below the balcony, and sometimes around 4m!

A part dive in room then :D And yes, we did! We ended up deluxe, and paying a little extra so we're certain to sit together. They have a pretty neat looking gym on site too so I can attack that in the mornings to make up for all the cocktails I know I'll be drinking.

This is our fridge freezer. Not what you were imagining I'm afraid! It has a thingamajig inside the door for your pop cans. How fancy!

Your weekend plans sound as hectic as normal! It'll be like you never even had a holiday at that pace. Must be lovely to know the house will (hopefully!) be finally coming together while you're in NY though. I know how excited I am with just the idea of a rug let alone new flooring!

That buggy is so cute CMD! :D Love the colour too. Are there any different ways you can have the 'pods' sit? Or be able to take one out when Max is older? I like how it looks normal single buggy style so you won't have the problems of not being able to get it in smaller shops, or just have too much of a bulk to push!

I'm sorry CMD, I'm not sure I know how to have an opinion on a buggy. I'm guessing sturdy is a reasonable opinion? I like the colour. The front part looks like the child at the back is really proud and has created a display pod for a newborn? I think I tried too hard to have an opinion :(

Lol Dinah - no opinion needed. I just wanted to post something up as I have already gotten married, am not going on holidays any time soon and have no house of my own at the moment. Lol :)

The newborn will be in a pram bit at the back and Max will be in the front so he can see out. Then when the baby gets bigger it goes in the smaller pushchair. I am also keeping my iCandy cherry so when there are 2 adults we can push one buggy each!

If it sounds confusing it is because the world of buggies is very confusing. I hope none of you ever have to get a double/twin/tandem buggy because there aren't that many good ones!

You did a much better job of a buggy opinion than me Cinny!

Oooh that is a pretty nice fridge freezer, I like the ones with the drawers.

I love the fridge freezer. Very swish. I want to buy a Smeg whenever we buy a house. I love them:)

Yes, the buggy changes into lots of different positions and also reverts back into a single buggy.

The main reason we got it is because it is parent facing so I can interact with the baby when we are on our own (ie Max isn't using the other buggy). Max still faces me in the buggy and I love us singing together and seeing his little excited face when he sees the birds (currently obsessed with them) and dogs. He would be fine with the facing away, it's Mammy that can't let go!

Its the one thing we have splashed out on for this baby, everything else has been second hand or hand me downs but I was desperate for either a silver cross or iCandy pram :o

It is lovely, very classy indeed.

Looking back we should have just bought the iCandy peach in the first place and converted it to the double but I honestly wasn't expecting to have such a small gap. I thought there would be a 2 year gap and I would be able to use the cherry for both. We had to buy everything new for Max, as we didn't know anyone over here but my sister is getting the use out of some of Max's stuff now and so will the new baby.

We are quite lucky in that we know quite a few (very generous) people who have had babies within the last two years. I am very grateful for the amount of help we have had so far :D

Gosh all of this buggy talk is a bit confusing! All I know is that I really don't like those double ones where the baby in the back is in a sling looking thing that goes kind of under the front seat. (errr, like this I think) What a crummy view for the poor baby in the back! There's a buggy in John Lewis that my Mum wants me to get (you know, for the baby that doesn't exist yet!) that has a big long basket on the side for your shopping! Can't find it on the website but it's huge, like a tank! I think I'll be getting the smallest lightest thing I can find as I'm a menace with those wheely baskets in the supermarket, never mind trollies, I'll have to come with a health warning when I get a buggy!

I love that fridge Cinny, amazing! And I never knew that Boots did white goods, will have to tell my Mum as she's after a new Fridge and the one she's picked from John Lewis is nearly £900! I could wrangle myself a finders fee methinks, the money saved plus the points! ;) She owes me big time as it is, I went around last night to help build an Ikea wardrobe expecting my brother and SIL to be there to help, but they were busy so I had to build a big heavy wardrobe in a tiny room with 2 useless oldies to help with the lifting, it took hours! I was so tired and sore when I got home, got in after OH and he always makes me laugh when that happens as I can get in 5 minutes after he does but he's always tucked up in bed with his book, as if to say, 'What time do you call this?!'
